  • Great Video. What camera do you use? Looks sweet.

  • @Raptor3400 Thanks Raptor! This vid was shot with a Canon HG20.

  • Aww she was enjoying her ice cream. Her hair is getting long.Your son has a sharp eye for cars. There aren't that many drive ins around any more.We had a storm years ago that knocked ours down and on the marquis it said"Gone with the Wind".

  • I'm not a big fan of the food but you gotta love the atmosphere! There is someone in my life though that LOVES the varsity.

  • Great video Dale. It's been a long time since I've eaten at the Varsity (the late 80s!!!) so this brought back some memories. Also, it looks like a fun was had by all. :)

  • Cute cute cute....what memories to share (like 20 years later). ;)

  • Great video!!! Was that bubble gum ice cream they were enjoying? My favorite!

  • O.K. I'm a little slow... I just now noticed that you added the date to the cup in the opening scene. Very clever of your Dale :^D

Are there any other "hidden" things to look for?

  • I wouldn't say you were slow at all. You were the only one to catch that! So if you are slow, then nobody else is even MOVING! LOL

  • Also, i gotta say, my heart melted when your daughter cried. I don't know if i'd be able to take away the ice cream...I'd feel horrible. Thats why i may not make a good parent right now is because i can't say no. Especially to something i brought on this earth. Its like...your trainee.

  • What a cute kid. I can't believe he was able to spot a beamer.

  • cute kids :)

  • hahahaha the end was so cute :P

  • Oh, and her belly was definitely NOT full.

  • Glad to see Copper's a helluva engineer!

  • Ok here we go... Bad daddy!!!!! poor Kinsley, she was enjoying that ice cream!! but I know it was better to cry a little than to puke a lot huh? She's very big by the way! she's growing really fast!!! And cooper has a great taste for cars!!!!

  • Oh and by the way, what camera does your wife has?? looks really cool!

  • Wow, this is such a wonderfull family video Dale.

  • Spinx was not there! Me want ice cream too!

  • poor Kinsley.....but I know about tummy aches ; ) Love her ponytails.....Cooper sure has an eye for cars....Ok, time-out for you.... (lol)

  • Pehaps she would remember if she had thown up...I remember when I was little and ate a whole packet of cookies and throw up afterwards and I never did that again. Lesson learned lol The kids are "ginormic" and full of bright teeth =D

  • I absolutely adore your videos your family is beautiful!

  • And another outstanding video from you. Gosh your kids have grown up so much - loved Kinsley's little "pig tails" and Cooper pointing out a BMW, what good taste ;) You have given me smiles, while away on business, and you have given me a desire to get home to my own little one as quickly as possible! Love those videos of yours!

  • haha Bubba. No, I couldn't have slipped that by her. She is as sharp as a tack when it comes to FOOD! LOL

  • oh, and one more random thought before I leave you alone...

You know, my first thought was "there's something special" about this DaleATL2 video... and after the 3rd viewing, I figured it out. This may be the FIRST DaleATL2 video where DaleATL2's face never made an appearance! :^D

    p.s. looks GREAT in HD!

  • oh, Greg...1:17?

Now, my face was never in One Random Snowfall. My CROTCH was, though. :-) So, same thing.

  • DOH! o.k you got me... I suffer from long term loss of short term memory.

    Umm, what were you sayin'?

  • Aww, poor Kinsley. They are getting so big and even more cute.

  • Hey Dara. They are heartbreakers for sure. :-)

  • I'm sure you put a smile on Frank Gordy's face :^)

  • I will have to take your word on it. I am NOT digging him up to find out.

    Whaaa?

  • Nice goin' Dale... getting a whole new generation hooked on The Greezy Vee! And not only that, the original one! Not the Jr. nor Towne Lake, nooo... the REAL thing!

Plus you're a mean, mean man... making a cutie like Kiki cry like that...TCH!

    I'll call DEFACS on you!

  • Oh, their first trip HAD o be the real thing. It is Mom's Mecca. So there could be no substitute. (And I concur.)

  • This is one of my favorite videos! I remember my trips to that Varsity. Brings back good memories!!

Haha poor Kinsley. <3 I would've had a hard time saying no!

    Great Job Dale!!

  • Thanks Shaye! I should have given her some warning. But I felt better when she watched the video tonight and said, "What's wrong with Kiki?" :-)

  • Your kids are adorable.

I always enjoy your vids, makes me remember when my kids were that young.

    Nice work, 5 stars!!!

P.S. you're never too full for ice cream :-)

  • Thanks Jerry. haha. Yeah. But she doesn't know when to stop yet. I didn't want her puking in the carseat on the long interstate ride home. Not fun when that happens. :-D

  • ha ha I know what you mean.

One trip when my daughter was little she said "dad I have to throw up" and jokingly I said well then aim at your brother. MISTAKE!!! she did and then I had two kids throwing up

  • LQOL! Oh my. I will have to share that story with Kim in the morning. I had a hard time not waking people up after reading that! LQOL (L-quietly-OLl)

  • Great video Dale, as always ;)

That ice cream looked delicious...i would get pissed too if someone took it away from me...LOL ;)

  • I should have at least given her a warning. Oh well. Live and learn.

    Thanks António. See you around!

  • aw, she was so upset at the end, lol poor thing!

Dale long time no talk... nice vid... you know the whole time I have lived in ATL *7 yrs* I still have never eaten there lol

  • sup gurl?! good 2 "C" U. :-D

I can't believe that you have never been. You have to go at least once, even if that's not your style of grub. You know, just to experience the place.

    thanks for dropping in.

    be good. *hug*

  • You have 2 smart kids Dale. Thank you for sharing.

  • We injected them with a heavy-duty brain serum when they were three weeks old. I think that it is starting to bear fruit. Cooper actually filed our taxes this year.

    ;-) haha

    Thanks El !!

  • This just looks like an awesome place!

LOVED the ending! So familiar! Good for you for not backing down!

  • I should have eased her into it, though. I did give her a shock to the system. BUT, when she watched it tonight, she was all, "What's wrong with Kiki?!!" LOL

  • Sensory overload for the young'ns.

  • And for the adults trying to keep up with young'ns! :-)
