It would be neet gameplay if when you harvest someone you get a chest burster that attacks your enemies. But no there are a few things in this game that you can do but get nothing from it. Like collecting data files etc. or destroying the cans of royal jelly. Gameplay could have been much better.

Here are the pros and cons of this game.

Pros - Nice graphics. - Kept the look and sounds of AVP authentic.

Cons - Games way too short. - A 15gig game that should only be 5gigs. - Story and plot is very simple with no suprises. - The whole game feels like a tutorial that introduces you to the world of AVP.  - Same old game play with nothing new. - Very limited ammo and map area. - No replayability.

If you read the top of the Aliens head it clearly states it's number eight so if you have watched Alien ressurection riply is clone number eight so you are playing as a alien clone

yeah work in progress.... i agree.. A LOTTA work needed on THAT progress. AVP 2 got it down perfectly, watching this was a bit sad... its flawless, Alien is a flawless hunting beast... you cant have him stop, look around, keep looking around.... wait.. wait little longer, backtrack.... wait some more... then decide to jump up... might be player, might be game.. (methinks its player and the 360 controls rather than pc smoothness)

Hmm. Is it always going to be that way? To access vents and the like? It doesn't seem as fluid this time around. In AvP1 and AvP2 you could just claw them open and run or jump on in. The marker thing really slows the pace down.

But the player really wasn't the best so maybe you can quickly access the vents and walls without waiting for that little maker to show up.

no the marine is not blind. Its because in the stairs infront of him, all was dark. But for the player it was not, because 1st he's an alien and 2nd if you want to see something...I'll love to be an alien in multiplayer, and hide to ambush marines :). I hope those guy will not move there gamma to see in the dark :(

Only thing I liked about his vid is that the Alien POV and movement reminded me A LOT of the chase scene through the tunnels in Alien 3, which was one of the best parts of that film. Good job Rebellion on getting that down pat. Looking forward to playing this come Feb 16.

The idea in whole is great, but it can never be a good thing because firms just wont put money into polishing the game for each platform.. It gives itself that you gotta have other settings for the pc than with the consoles, and in most cases it will be a horrible port.
