Hazelmere was my fav :( :( I hope he had something up his sleeve. Although he couldn't do anything to Lucien he had the best chance. What was the thing in his hand supposed to do didn't he have 2 seed pods (?) left and he used 1 to save you meaning he had one left? I hope I'm right when I say he did teleport as luciens spell hit him and he made Lucien think he is dead. God I love this scene, it just shows what true powers lie within the realm of RuneScape, and it shows the full potential of Lucien. And it also shows that there are creatures out there that a near undefeatable, but we will always find a way.
I think this is all falling in place for one of Guthix's schemes. All of the gods in Runescape (Seren, Armadyl, Saradomin, Bandos, and Zamorak) were banished and restricted by the Edicts of Guthix. Zaros, however, was untouched by the Edicts because he was banished before Guthix knew who he even was. Now that Zaros is back, he's probably going to try and stop Lucien from becoming a god like Zamorak did because of what Zamorak did to him.
@LongClawzHidden Zaros in not yet returned to the realm of RuneScape, but he's on his way to full health, and soon he will be back. And I somewhat dread the day he will return, and I somewhat want it to happen.
I wonder what powers are out there that are able to defeat Lucien? He seems awfully powerful, and yet it also seems he is undefeatable. But perhaps a god shall return to our presence?
Either Guthix(I highly doubt it), or Zaros will stop/kill Lucien at the end. Even with the staff of Armadyl, Lucien is no match for Zaros. Even when Zamorak had the staff it was a big fight against Zaros. We're getting more and more quest and items about the dark god, so i'm guessing he'll be back some day. Guthix, however, will most likely remain asleep. And no, Zaros was not evil. He was dark, more neutral than evil.

@iceman3317 Zaros and Zamorak did fight. I can quote it if you would like. Zamorak then threw the staff, and impaled Zaros in the back. Zaros later trips and the other end of the staff impales Zamorak, and Zaros' power go to Zamorak.

@Rspvper12 Zaros and Lucien are two COMPLETELY different people. You see Lucien in this quest, and you see Zaros in The Temple at Senntisten, this proves they are not in the same body, that would be physically impossible. I doubt Lucien even knows of Zaros exsistence.
Lucien does know of Zaros' existence as he was one of the Mahjarrat who helped set Zaros up.
What he does not know, is that you helped Azzanadra in Temple at Senntisten, to regain contact with the 'Great Lord'. The contact made with The Great Lord remains secretly, untill his physical spirit is fully restored. Looking very much forward to the new Mahjarrat quest!

Judging from the note Bob leaves us during/after the ROTM quest, it's likely he will turn back into Robert the Strong and aid us in the next Master Quest. Couldn't think of a greater ally.

zaros is not affected by the edicts so he could interfear and guthix do not know who is zaros. I wish zaros would finally come back and destroy both zamorak and lucien by ripping them in half with his bare hands and absorb their power
@helloweencool That'd be cool to see, but the Edicts of Guthix say gods can't directly interact with Runescape. So I think Guthix will come and allow other gods to come in too.
@helloweencool Zamorak betrayed Zaros when he was a general in his army, giving him Godhood. Zaros = dead, yet somehow you make contact with him in Temple At Sentistten. I wouldn't really know how or why because I haven't done it yet :P

if another quest is made to go after this one, I say if lucien is killed,it'll be like you any many npcs find a way to absorb lucien's spell and send it back at him resulting in him getting killed by his own deadly spell, or you and many other npcs (including the monk of zamorak) communicate to zamorak and warn him about lucien (after aquiring the many things in order to communicate with him), then he creates an avatar to represent him, and you, the monk of zamorak, and ... can't type the rest..
Yes it says "The shield also gives you protection from any magical attacks." But is it really going to protect you from the Staff of Armadyl? Or any other god for that matter? Lucien is pretty much a god right now.

He was already powerful at the time, not as powerful as he is now, but he was way above level 14. He only used that as a disguise. I know you're not a Jagex Moderator simply because I am one in the game. We don't get any special information, we're just there to patrol anyone causing a disturbance. His powers still come from him, they're just enhanced by the staff/stone.

@DrlchknJr Its funny the Fist of Guthix is another word for The Sone of Jas. That means you are right in the fact that they were trying to guard the FoG.
@armitroner Actually, whether the Fist of Guthix and the Stone of Jas is the same stone is still a mystery. Sure you can put the pieces of the puzzle together, but there is still no confirmation, atleast that I've heard of. If you have any information regarding them being the same stone, please enlighten me. I don't play RuneScape anymore but I'm still in love with the storyline.
@DrlchknJr Yes, alot of people consider them the same, but this remains unconfirmed. However it has been comfirmed that the Stone of Jas is also called the Eye of Saradomin.
Lucien has the Stone of Jas and the Staff of Armadyl. What do you thin kyour player is goning to do? Those are weapons of two VERY POWERFUL gods. Lucien is near god - like right now. He could kill your character so fast you would'nt even know what hit you. If there is a sequel, your player will have to call upon a higher being to destroy Lucien.

just simply kills you right there on the spot. You can't really defend. And incase you didn't know Surok works FOR Lucien. I do however believe that the people who defeat Lucien won't be someone such as Guthix or anyone else because the player can do it. All we need is special equipment such as the shield of arrav that renders all Mahjarrat attacks useless and a weapon such as Darklight but instead of weakening demons it just hurts Lucien. I believe the player might make one.
@DrlchknJr You character isn't going to be able to kill Lucien. I never said there was for sure going to be gods in the sequel, or if there will evel be a sequel. And his attacks are like a gods. They would fry you. I was simply stating Surok's power. I know he works for Lucien. But this will mroe than likely cause another go ward, breaking the Edicts of Guthix. Henceforth, Guthix will put RuneScape in mass chaos.

Sliske is quote: "the shadows and evil around you" and since Morytania is mainly a shadowy area, it has been stated by a mod that that could be his possible current location. It is also believed he gave the Barrows Brothers their powers. None of this has yet been confirmed. It HAS been confirmed that Zaros is not banished. He is hiding in the wilderness beyond where the current Wilderness goes. Beyond gielinor itself, this does NOT mean he is banned/banished.

@BKiggin Zaros Faded from Existence AS WE KNOW IT! The as we know it is capsed because he faded from the knowledge of all current humans. He is still in Gielinor, but no one knows where. Azzandra is simply contacting him through telekinesis. Zaros is out of the current plane of Gielinor, simply because people havent ventured that far yet.
Zamorak toverthrew Zaros by Throwing the Staff of Armadyl into Zaros' bakc, at firsy weakening Zaros. Then Zaros tripped, and the other of of the staff went into Zamorak's arm, transferring the powers. It has been CONFIRMED BY JAGEX THAT ZAROS IS NOT DEAD. Just brutally weakened. He is currently hiding somewhere deep within the Wilderness. Probably deeper than the current Wilderness goes.
@SGTXSN1P3RSX Sliske will be in the last Mahjarrat quest as confirmed by JaGeX. Mod Luiz said to me, you may not see gods but as for Sliske... You may very well call upon him for help in the last Mahjarrat quest in the series! Sliske is the one who "supposedly" gave the Barrows Brothers their powers. This has not been confirmed but there are many clues pointing to that.
I can bet that Guthix will be involved in this somehow, as this quest has Guthix in it. Maybe the fighting of all this and more once again, awakes Guthix. I wouldn't be surprised if Guthix or Zaros are in the next grandmaster quest of this series. It's hard to say though. I would definitely like to see some gods in the game! But who knows?
@eekin19972 Yes, the Stone of Jas rightfully belongs to Guthix, even though Jas, the lder god, made the Stone. Guthix would be INFURIATED if he found out the stone was stolen. And I don't know for sure whether Guthix will be involed in the sequel to this quest, but I see it has happening. As the title of the quest is While GUTHIX Sleeps.
here's how it goes.... Zaros will come and fuck up Lecuel beyond hell and back... while Guthix and Armadyl reclaim what is theirs. The zaros will give one final blow killing lucien. To me that sounds like a way better storyline. And Zemourgal and Hazeel and Azzandra and Enakhra dont appear in it at all accept to back up lucien and thats it
@Redknight345 but dont you see zemourgal in the quest the curse of arrav..he takes away arrav and turns him into his servent, also where does it say lord Drakan is dead from what i have heard hes still alive, btw hazeel isn't a very powerful mahjarrat so i dont think he would help much
@SGTXSN1P3RSX First of all, yes zemourgal is still there but hes not able to enter gielinor "yet" Also hazeel is one of the best mahjarrat hes far better then zemourgal, just because hes mellee combat doesn't mean hes not powerfull and besides lord drakan is a vampyre so he would get crushed anyway
@SGTXSN1P3RSX That's the Mahjarrat Ritual Site. It i'snt Zemouregal's base. It's where all the Mahjarrat come to perform the Mahjarrat ritual. Which will be explained very greatly in the last Mahjarrat series quest, "The Ritual of the Mahjarrat."
@Redknight345 Lucien is doing this to attempt to Overthrow Zamorak, thet same as how Zamorak DID overthrow Zaros. But I can Guarantee Guthix will awake and there will be massive super-awesome dangerous oober hell-on-earth. As Guthix' powers are VERY great.
@BKiggin Exactly... It is stated somewhere in the game that she has "feelings" for Zamorak. Stating that she does in fact love Zamorak and is no more part of the Majharrat, as they were originally followers of Zaros.
@Redknight345 Also YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!! Zemourgal is alive. Him and Lucien will be Teamed with eachother and the new quest will be the Player has to find Zamorakian Mahjarrets or Zarosian Mahjarrets whom Opposes Lucien and Zemourgal!

Since he is obssessed wit hZamorak, he will attempt to stop Lucien from overthrowning him, as that is Luciens overall plan. either that, or Guthix will awake and there'll be hell to pay.

@BKiggin If you would like to get technical, Jas , the Elder God, is the most powerful. and Guthix derives his powers from Jas. It is said that Guthix is in fact a son of Jas. Whether or not this is true, no one yet knows. But I can be sure Guthix will be involved in the next grandmaster.

Im pretty sure since every majarrat is heading towards the north and zaros is being revived, and lucien claims to have god powers now, im pretty sure its going to be a team battle between zaros and lucien.

@MovieModerator Yet all that power, and in the end, he was still slayed by the Dragonkin. Maybe he was truly the lesser of two evils. Maybe... It would have been best if he had lived. To help fight against the coming threat. Threat to RuneScape or not, the Dragonkin are a greater threat it seems.
Judging from the note Bob leaves us during/after the ROTM quest, it's likely he will turn back into Robert the Strong and aid us in the next Master Quest. Couldn't think of a greater ally.

@helloweencool That'd be cool to see, but the Edicts of Guthix say gods can't directly interact with Runescape. So I think Guthix will come and allow other gods to come in too.

@helloweencool Zamorak betrayed Zaros when he was a general in his army, giving him Godhood. Zaros = dead, yet somehow you make contact with him in Temple At Sentistten. I wouldn't really know how or why because I haven't done it yet :P

if another quest is made to go after this one, I say if lucien is killed,it'll be like you any many npcs find a way to absorb lucien's spell and send it back at him resulting in him getting killed by his own deadly spell, or you and many other npcs (including the monk of zamorak) communicate to zamorak and warn him about lucien (after aquiring the many things in order to communicate with him), then he creates an avatar to represent him, and you, the monk of zamorak, and ... can't type the rest..

Yes it says "The shield also gives you protection from any magical attacks." But is it really going to protect you from the Staff of Armadyl? Or any other god for that matter? Lucien is pretty much a god right now.

@MovieModerator The reason he's not level 14 anymore isn't because he *USE* to be weak, it's because that was his false form. He was already powerful at the time, not as powerful as he is now, but he was way above level 14. He only used that as a disguise. I know you're not a Jagex Moderator simply because I am one in the game. We don't get any special information, we're just there to patrol anyone causing a disturbance. His powers still come from him, they're just enhanced by the staff/stone.

@armitroner Actually, whether the Fist of Guthix and the Stone of Jas is the same stone is still a mystery. Sure you can put the pieces of the puzzle together, but there is still no confirmation, atleast that I've heard of. If you have any information regarding them being the same stone, please enlighten me. I don't play RuneScape anymore but I'm still in love with the storyline.

Lucien has the Stone of Jas and the Staff of Armadyl. What do you thin kyour player is goning to do? Those are weapons of two VERY POWERFUL gods. Lucien is near god - like right now. He could kill your character so fast you would'nt even know what hit you. If there is a sequel, your player will have to call upon a higher being to destroy Lucien.

Trust me, I've done every quest and read every background to them. Lucien may be powerful but he is still just a mahjarrat, and the shield of arrav can easily stop him. just simply kills you right there on the spot. You can't really defend. And incase you didn't know Surok works FOR Lucien. I do however believe that the people who defeat Lucien won't be someone such as Guthix or anyone else because the player can do it. All we need is special equipment such as the shield of arrav that renders all Mahjarrat attacks useless and a weapon such as Darklight but instead of weakening demons it just hurts Lucien. I believe the player might make one.

@DrlchknJr You character isn't going to be able to kill Lucien. I never said there was for sure going to be gods in the sequel, or if there will evel be a sequel. And his attacks are like a gods. They would fry you. I was simply stating Surok's power. I know he works for Lucien. But this will mroe than likely cause another go ward, breaking the Edicts of Guthix. Henceforth, Guthix will put RuneScape in mass chaos.

Sliske is quote: "the shadows and evil around you" and since Morytania is mainly a shadowy area, it has been stated by a mod that that could be his possible current location. It is also believed he gave the Barrows Brothers their powers. None of this has yet been confirmed. It HAS been confirmed that Zaros is not banished. He is hiding in the wilderness beyond where the current Wilderness goes. Beyond gielinor itself, this does NOT mean he is banned/banished.

@BKiggin Zaros Faded from Existence AS WE KNOW IT! The as we know it is capsed because he faded from the knowledge of all current humans. He is still in Gielinor, but no one knows where. Azzandra is simply contacting him through telekinesis. Zaros is out of the current plane of Gielinor, simply because people havent ventured that far yet.

Zamorak toverthrew Zaros by Throwing the Staff of Armadyl into Zaros' bakc, at firsy weakening Zaros. Then Zaros tripped, and the other of of the staff went into Zamorak's arm, transferring the powers. It has been CONFIRMED BY JAGEX THAT ZAROS IS NOT DEAD. Just brutally weakened. He is currently hiding somewhere deep within the Wilderness. Probably deeper than the current Wilderness goes.

@SGTXSN1P3RSX Sliske will be in the last Mahjarrat quest as confirmed by JaGeX. Mod Luiz said to me, you may not see gods but as for Sliske... You may very well call upon him for help in the last Mahjarrat quest in the series! Sliske is the one who "supposedly" gave the Barrows Brothers their powers. This has not been confirmed but there are many clues pointing to that.

I can bet that Guthix will be involved in this somehow, as this quest has Guthix in it. Maybe the fighting of all this and more once again, awakes Guthix. I wouldn't be surprised if Guthix or Zaros are in the next grandmaster quest of this series. It's hard to say though. I would definitely like to see some gods in the game! But who knows?

@eekin19972 Yes, the Stone of Jas rightfully belongs to Guthix, even though Jas, the lder god, made the Stone. Guthix would be INFURIATED if he found out the stone was stolen. And I don't know for sure whether Guthix will be involed in the sequel to this quest, but I see it has happening. As the title of the quest is While GUTHIX Sleeps.

here's how it goes.... Zaros will come and fuck up Lecuel beyond hell and back... while Guthix and Armadyl reclaim what is theirs. The zaros will give one final blow killing lucien. To me that sounds like a way better storyline. And Zemourgal and Hazeel and Azzandra and Enakhra dont appear in it at all accept to back up lucien and thats it

@Redknight345 Actually, since it was mainly Saradomin and Zamorak fighting, Armadyl and Bandos weren't banned, they left. But their followers got pulled into the fight. Still, Guthix is the most powerful god and will more than likely be the one to stop Lucien's attacks!

@Redknight345 Actually, Bandos and Armadyl left, they weren't banned. Saradomin and Zamorak got banned. But somehow, followers of Bandos and Armadyl got pulled into the fight. Either Zaros or Guthix, as they are the two most powerful gods with Guthix in the head, will stop Lucien and his fearsome attacks.
