Prefer the Coupe model of the Z4, BMW should bring out the M Z4 with the 4.0 L V8 from the m3 like the previous generation. Then you'd be looking at a serious car, speacially if it were a few hundred pounds lighter.

In retrospect, here's how the whole turn signal thing translates 2 me -

There's something lacking that does not convey performance driving [like a pure M]. So, even though I was trying 2 go fast [given the 'track' space], Z4 experience didn't feel like 'racing'. So, my sub-mind said 'on-the-road rules'.

Like Z4, but it is not a hard-edged performance-flavored sportscar.

Certainly, I missed the 19" tires [opt only on 35i], hoping that would have killed the trace understeer.

Or, I should have checked the damn tire pressures before the test!

I agree with Leo...theirs sports cars and roadsters...a corvette is a sports car, big hp and quick speed. A roadster on the other hand is about balance and feel...the BMW is a great roadster, ample power with good handling, its about the back roads on a nice day, corvette on the other hand is about 1/4 and top speed...I liked the detour... nice job Leo

First off the CTS-V is one of the best sedans ever made. Probably the best Americas ever made. It'll be fun to see what happens.

Second Leo really gets what cars are really about and what there meant for, driving. Not just having a fast car and parking it. It was a great review and more of them should be done by him.

The CTS-V is a tough car to beat. It looks like it was designed by Skunkworks along side the B-2 and its got almost 560 HP. Not to mention its at least 20K cheaper than an M5.

Even the guys on Top Gear, who notoriously bash anything made in America, said that GM is finally getting it right. They couldn't say enough good things about the CTS-V. I think Jeremy Clarkson wanted to hump the magnetic ride control too:)
