Dude don't take this the wrong way but I have had like 12 cars and 3 were foreign and they are SO much better and long lasting. Better to stay away from the domestic cars unless you have a lot of money to pour into them. Stick to Toyota, Honda, Hyundai. Mitsubishi is kinda cheap made and Nissan too much to repair. Stay away from the American cars though, they just don't hold up. BTW I have a 97 formula with that engine and we had to replace the engine at 80,000 miles,never went over 90mph too.
Yeah I do agree how Japanese cars are much easier to work on and parts, like everything is easier. From my expierance american cars do have there flaws. But if you treat them ok, they usually do ok. But when it a muscle car, people haul ass in em and they take a beating. Such as this car. This year I am getting another camaro z28 for my everyday driving and a 300zxTT for a my track car. I have a muuuch beter job now. I'm just a fan of muscle :) so I'm willing to put the money in it.

well, for the most part the first 4th generation z28s came with the v8 lt1, up un to 97-98, some 97 sold with ls1. so the point is, most all z28 93-97 had lt1, and how to tell the dif from a lt1 and lt4? well thats kinda hard just looking at it, some have badges and some you can tell right away, the trick is knowing what to look for.

nah a LT1 z28 you can tell my the back of the car behind windows its painted black and so are the mirrors thats how you tell if its a v6 or a v8...and of course the engine looks nothing like a 3800..
Ok I'll put it this way. I counted 8 exhaust ports coming out of the engine...4 on each side......I think it might of bin a v8. Just maybe....I have no clue whether the car might have had a past conversion or not. I know it's bin in a bad crash and possibly after that they replaced the engine. But I know for a fact that it was not a v6. I know this bro...
Then you don't know what an LT1 looks like. OR the 3800 for that matter. The intake manifold alone is a dead giveaway. I love it when ignorant people try to smart off.
First day I owned mine the Trans Blew I had to drive 2 miles in reverse to get home.... then a month after the new trans and 500 dollar 3500stall converter the motor smoked dropped all oil pressure and i was just driving it home on the highway. then it rod knocked like crazy. So I only payed 1500 for it but new motor was 7000 since im going pro street, new trans was 1000 and stall was 500, body is fucked... needs 3000 for body work.
What a shame. Just imagine that car when it was brand new pulling into the trailer park. I think it all started to go downhill once the aftermarket stereo was installed.

Its a V8 because the V6 speedo only goes to 110 the V8 goes to 150.
