  • Self. Centered.

  • Lord, have mercy on this sick, twisted "practice." BAD medicine. Do you tell the women about the ovarian cancer they develop later because of the hyperstimulation of ovulation?! How about the porn-stimulated masturbation a man has to do which is humiliating, in the doctor's office in a cup?! Goodness gracious.....what a mess. The children have problems too. But, we just 'want' and feel we 'deserve' a baby. Gift. Life is a gift.

  • @jacrn323 Have you got ovarian cancer? I don't find masturbation humiliating, you don't do it in front of the doctor's face.

  • CONTRACEPTION DESTROYS CERVICAL CRYPTS WHICH MAKE MUCUS SPERM NEED! IF YOU WANT TO PRESERVE YOUR FERTILITY, TAKE CARE OF IT BEFORE YOU "WANT" TO USE IT!!!!

  • @jacrn323 Is that your vagina? No it's not, you go away and do with your dick or vagina whatever you want to, but don't come here telling people what to do with their organs.

  • None of this is necessary...it's exploitation of women who are desperate! IVF does NOT cure the problems of infertility. Infertility is secondary to an underlying problem which is not fixed (conflict of interest). There is a MUCH safer, healthier and better way for moms and the babies that result (unfortunately the poor embryos which we were all, once are killed because they only "want" a few, and maybe freeze the rest of the people. Try Creighton Model Fertility Care System. 99.5% successful

  • very informative

  • one day I'll be an in vitro specialist

  • IVF is very selfish. People waste thousands of dollars on fabricated babies when they could much more easily adopt a baby and change a life for the better.

  • @ThePhazonMonkey Thats a totally unfair statement. What is wrong with the desire to want to produce and create a baby with your signifigant other? If your statement is in regards to people like the octomom then yes I would agree. But as a women who is completely unable to have a baby on my own im extremely offended by what you said. Sure I can adopt and Im not totally against that either, but its my choice and who are you to judge.

  • @SweetNikkiRoxxx You're right in that I am not nor have ever been in that situation, and am therefore not educated on the strong emotions and choices involved. I didn't mean to offend you, I was simply stating my opinion. I was a bit too harsh, and for that I apologize. I just think that there is a very thin line between wanting a baby of your flesh and blood (a completely valid aspiration), and being selfish and satisfying your every fling. Please take my words lightly and as if from an ignoran

  • @ThePhazonMonkey Ive been with my spouse for 8yrs, we have actively tried for the past 5, nothing. And while adoption is something we definitely have looked over, its twice as expensive, and extremely difficult. My problem is I have bad tubes, had 4 miscarriages, and 2 deadly ectopic pregnancies that almost literally killed me. As I said yes i understand how irresponsible it is for women like the octomom to selifishly get implanted with a bunch of kids to be famous, but not everyone is like that

  • @SweetNikkiRoxxx I'm very sorry for your situation. I hope you can create a family just as you wish. Best of luck!

  • I think people need to believe in science as they believe in nature to make these kind of treatments successful...

  • this is ridiculous...how does producing more babies that inherit the trait of infertility themselves from their parents solve the problem...it only creates a new one

  • Thanks for sharing your video.

  • 7:23

  • Repent, repent, repent for this really needs to repent to Jesus christ. Jesus christ is way, truth, and life. LIFE

  • im sorry but i dont believe in fertility treatments including IVF. its messing with nature. im not religious but god intended for the sperm and egg to join INSIDE the body not be taken out and grown in a peri dish!! im an infertile woman myself but id rather take my chances with never having a child or adopting than having to trust someone who could easliy mistake my embyros from someone elses

  • can you tell me where have you got the procedure?

  • This video clip is really cool, thanks for taking the time to upload it

  • Calgary's ONLY Holistic Fertility Clinic is now open. Studies show that Acupuncture increase IVF success rates by 50%.... albertaacupuncture. com

  • 2 She bought some sperm and after a high-risk pregnancy, she gave to birth a girl who looks like her biological mother. Now her niece, who is married and has 2 boys is sorry about this, but the worst is that this baby won’t have a father to love her and she has been denied her FIRST RIGHT of having a MOTHER AND A FATHER

  • 1 In vitro fertilization may only be made to families with difficulty to procreate alone, and using their own eggs and sperm. The egg and sperm bank should be forbidden since I know the specific case of a menopausal woman with no husband, that in order to satisfy her desire to be a mother at any cost without considering the consequences, she managed to convince her niece to donate her some eggs.

  • ivf baby is very wrong method:That the IVF baby, where egg ( ova) of women(wife) Fertilized by any sperm of men (husbands) outside the body of women in laboratory test tubes is very wrong . The reason for this is that during this process will be subjected to egg (ova) women and any sperm of men as well as fertilized egg (zygote) these three structures will beexposed to light, and that this light will affect very on content living such as genetic gene mounted on chromosomes...etc

  • @ThePSHELA UV light will, they keep light exposure to a low during the whole process but for the most part it’s safe and not “very wrong”. Over a million children have been born by this method. Oh, and genes arn't mounted on the chromosome, they make up the chromosome through 30 nm cord.

  • Ok, let's put it this way: supposed you are a black father and the donor from which those eggs were retrieved, how do you think this child will be( a white kid or a black kid)? Let's say you're white who can't get pregnant is a black woman, you are black and you get those eggs from a white woman. Is there a chance that this child will still be white?

  • Yes

  • And for some of us it's way too easy to get pregnant.

  • We know that many cases of infertility results from genetic factors. By granting access to in vitro fertilization, it is conceivable that we are effectively encouraging the transmission of infertility to subsequent generations, and perhaps increasing its prevalence in the population on the whole. This trend carries with it benefits and detriments.

  • The principal benefit, I would argue, is that greater reliance on reproductive technologies will have the effect of increasing the rate at which parents screen their offspring for genetic deficiencies. In other words, placing parents in a position where they must secure assistance to produce offspring will intensify the eugenic trend of parental selection. The principal detriment is that greater pressure will be placed on public revenue for these procedures.

  • @gunman806

What you are saying does not make sense to me: If parents have genetic defects causing their infertility, the same disease will cause abortion when pregnancy happens...

On the contrary, IVF and artifical methods help to be more selective on embryos, opening a discussion on ethical grounds...which embryos should live, which not?

  • The best age for woman to give birth would probably around mid 20s..

  • excellent worker!

  • Our doctor has run one test after another but in between 3-6 months. I can tell you it has taken us over 2 years just to take all these dam tests and he still has no idea why we can't get pregnant. He told us that stress levels don't matter as well as many other things. Any time we ask questions he doesn't tell us much. I asked my General Practitioner for another referal but she refused and said he is the best and it is the only fertility clinic in our city.

  • science doesnt always have the answers especially quick hammer approaches theres other ways of TTC.

  • There is a small chance that the reasons of why you can't get pregnant are still unknown to science. I've heard from my biology teacher of a couple that has been trying to get pregnant for about 3 years and the doctors couldn't find their problem. They finally gave up, but after some months, she got pregnant. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from consulting a doctor: most of the cases are identified, but there are some few situations that science still can't explain. Don't lose hope ;)

  • hi if you want to get pregnant dont have sex for at least a month then try again that should work and also try to get lot of fresh air in the park.

  • You have no idea what you are talking about. Don't comment until you do a little reseach. You are not even worth arguing with.

  • No...

  • That's why couples are supposed to wait until the pregnancy is carried to term in order to decide what to do with the surplus blastocysts. Yea, I don't agree with discarding the surplus eggs, but it's up to the couple undergoing this. It would be great if surplus eggs could be used for hESCR but that's pretty far from possible. Many ethical issues need to be fixed before anything can be done. Either way, not everyone can adopt. Adoption can be costly too and some have requisites for the adopters

  • The success rate for women under 35 is over 50% per cycle.

    Adoption is nearly impossible domestically.

  • You're highly misinformed.

  • Thanks for the support. Unfortunately most of the people who replied have tried to put up a fight with me or accuse me of being absolutely wrong. Another unfortunate thing is: to see how much people of today have been swallowed into/by this 'consumerism' society; a socitey where people CONFUSE RIGHTS WITH GIFTS, and where the 'WANT' is more important than what is NECCESSARY.

  • Some of the below comments are awful! How any1 can narrow mindedly say a couple who are infertile can always adopt is shocking!

I am going thru IVF right now due to a blockage in my tubes not because i cant carry a child but because my egg cant pass thru the fluid.

Other couples may not have met the RIGHT person until later on in life and want to start a family then.

NObODY has the right to make an opinion on anyone with infertilty problems

  • of course you can do what you want. i hope you have your baby.

but later in life doesnt mean older than 50 , right?! im 35 and quite afraid of being pregnant again , because down syndrome risk increases.

there 's an age for everything , nature says so , and humans are laughing at nature ....

and what's the fuss about my comment about destroying the other embrios? it is true if doctors admit they do it. look at the octuplets mother , thats a relevant story about too many embrios implanted.

  • i had ectopic pregnancy right now...loosing hope for another chance because of my age....i am now 42...now thinking ivf can solve my problem..

  • hi if you want to get pregnant dont have sex for at least a month then try again that should work and also try to get lot of fresh air in the park. eat lot of vegtable and dont smoke or drink while abstaining so the egg can grow

  • thanks a lot...ill we'll try....

  • Ok..as you have identified yourself as a senior and have not yet learned how to weigh research evidence in your medical program...one can hope you will seek to become more informed. A good book to start would be How to Get Pregnant by Sherman Silber MD, Little, Brown and Company. Good luck in school!

  • I support gay rights and I also believe that lesbian couples have just as much a right to have children as heterosexual couples. That being said I was recently arguing that IVF was not immoral but was at a loss when my friend argued the following:

"IVF hurts the child because some children will never get to know there true biological fathers or never get a chance to meet him. and this might create a big gap in the child's life"

I was hoping someone could help me counter this argument?

  • Gouryella" "IVF hurts the child because some children will never get to know there true biological fathers or never get a chance to meet him. and this might create a big gap in the child's life"

I have a question, your friend said this because you are using donor semen? or what is the story here. What matters is the parents, who raises the child. What did your friend mean by it?

  • hey splovengates7

get a new imaginary friend, god is silly and does not exist. so get your hat and coat and fuck off

  • After IVF, on day 15 my wife beta hcg was 220, after 2 days was 405, we have first doctor apointment after IVF ( 7weeks) which will be on feb 23.

  • my beta hcg was 16 then fell to 9... it was biochemical pregnancy like yours prolly is

  • thanks sonicora, i fail. i plan to do ivf again, i don't know when is the right time. any suggestion?

  • I AM A PROUD IN VITRO BABY!!!!!!!!!

  • how much

  • @explodingpigeons0611

My father is one of the founding pioneers of IVF. True story.

You owe him your life, and as his progeny I demand you bow down in reverence.

  • @OrthodoxDarwinist you are ridiculous... although some people may "owe" your father their life, he is responsible for thousands of more deaths as a result to placing extra embryos in the woman and aborting them when the time comes...I find it abhorrent that you demand praise for this kind of murder

  • @thatothergirl456

It was a joke, but I see you don't have a sense of humor.

I'm not sure what you're talking about with the claim that IVF specialists place "extra embryos in the woman and aborting them when the time comes"?

You might be one of those bat-shit crazy Christians I've heard of.

  • @explodingpigeons0611 Congratz! :)

  • @explodingpigeons0611 whats there to be proud of? its just a form of fertalization.,..
