I have been there and seen this. The section they block off does not have any houses or non-scientology buildings on it on either side that I am aware of. So the lady saying she couldnt leave her house, or get to her her house or whatever..all she has to do is drive around it to the next little street. A 30 second inconvenience. They have a permit and work through the city on this. Theres no way they are denying people access to and from their houses.

We'll maybe they have been closing it too much and it's causing a problem. Public streets are routinely closed for special events. You just need a permit from the city.

The thing is, I've been there and seen this. The people complaining are really making it seem much worse than it is. It's one little short section of the street. It's just as easy to drive around it, probably easier because even when it's open to traffic there is a lot of people crossing back and forth between the buildings.
