@UFCallDAway You spelled it correctly, while that is true, we need a real safety, and this is the draft that we need to fix that issue. While Devin might say he likes it at FS, this isn't about what he likes. This is what works for fixing the secondary, and Barron offers that ability. What would you rather see, a secondary with McCourty switching back and forth between positions or a secondary with McCourty in his natural position, and a solid tandem of safeties to go with our cb's?

@UFCallDAway Oh, I'm sorry, I mistook you for a pats fan. lol Well, the pats hold the 27th and 31th picks, and with Barron's injury, he is actually expected to drop out of the 1st round. I don't think many teams will consider drafting him, especially if they are looking for a day one starter, as the injury is expected to go through July/August to heal. That's why I feel like the pats have the best chance at picking him up, since have a history of taking injured draft players

@whoandtheha I agree with AlabamaFootballFan3. I have watched this guy dominate the secondary since my freshman year. He started in the SEC as a freshman and has 166 total tackles and 10 interceptions. He is 6'2 215 and would have probably played linebacker for most colleges. I see him being a Darren Sharper, Eric Berry, or LaRon Landry type player. ( I know he isn't proven in the NFL, but just to give an idea). Hope this helps and Roll Tide!

@timsdudeandguy He's more of a Steve Atwater/Ronnie Lott type of player. He hits like a truck, shuts down the run and hawks the ball. Wherever he ends up he's going to be an impact player. He's a smart player with a ton of talent and a good head on his shoulders.

@whoandtheha hes a great leader, incredible ball skills(over 12 career picks) one of the hardest hitters youll ever see, almost never misses a tackle, and hes been a leader of 3 absolutely unbelievable defenses. huge reason we won 2 titles during his time. i think hes a future pro-bowler

@whoandtheha oh and hes huge in big games. in the nov. 5th game he intercepted a pass and took it like 25-30 yards inside the 10(but a block in the back ruined it) and even if it resulted in a FG we wouldve won, had amazing picks vs uf in 2010, and penn state this year, as well as a 77 yard awesome pick-6 vs south carolina back in 2009
