i don't own a ps3 or xbox but i would gladly invest in either, just to play this game. and also from what i read about it, you start off with four selectable characters but you can unlock negascott and download knives which adds diversity i guess.

Great review, as always. I actually got this game after seeing your review. So thanks for that, wouldn't have even known about it, otherwise. It's damn excellent. Dude, there's all these references to old school shit in this, like Kirby and Golden Axe. I love it. Plus Kim rocks. You should check out the movie, you might get a kick out of it.

this game looks awesome but the movie was retarded. nothing in it made any sense and its more of an insult to video games than it is a reference. the whole thing felt like it was writen by 12 year olds.

One retro-styled game I'm looking forward to is Retro City Rampage for WiiWare. It's basically an 8-bit Grand Theft Auto where you work as an underling doing odd jobs for video game bosses. For example, one of your missions is to--I shit you not--plant the bombs at the dam for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles like in the NES game.
