Like others who have commented here, I am blown away to be able to see this having played sax in the band at the time. I'm sure most of us never conceived at the time that we'd ever get to see this performance since there weren't even VCRs at the time. Amazing.

Wow this is fantastic! Many thanks for posting. I was one of the many CHS band who marched in this half time show. I remember all the practice sessions that we had in preparation. Jack Mercer set a standard that was unmatched. I would like to get in touch with other CHS band alumni of the time. A reunion? By all means.
Jack Mercer and Larry Dean created a DVD of select shows from 58 to 95 (that Jack had on film and tape). I got them and put them on You Tube (with permission) since many of our Classmates are in this show. We're planning our 45 Year reunion for October.
Whoever found and posted these videos of CHS at the 1966 Pro Bowl we owe a debt of gratitude. I believe you have truly "made my year"! I have never seen this clip although I was only ONE of the 500 voices participating in the program, not to mention the other 600 GREAT team participants. What a treat!
