  • how accurate is this rifle and/or break barrels of today in general??

  • @saffronwales uh I have a .22 caliber air rifle and its pretty damn accurate. i can hit a 6 inch target from 100 yards

  • you could deff kill a rabbit. aslong as its over 700fps? which yours looks like it is try with birds, then go to squirells and if all is well go for bigger animals. like muskrats or rabbits whichever you choose, hope this helped. by the way. a good test is to see how put a metal coffee can close to you. or as close as you could get to a rabbit. if it goes through oneside you could kill a rabbit.

  • @badassedis cheers.

  • thats easy i can do 10 each hand swappin each shot

  • how long is that scope? cuz I've seen in it the store very cheap, but I dont use airrifle I use air pistol so need to know how many inchs long it is, to see check if it would work. any idea?;)

  • @TheEXpothead the scope is about 6-8 inches long.

  • airarms s410 classic 1.77 cal, hitting filtertips at 35 yds no prob, now thats accuracy, legal limit of 12ft pound or under, accuracy outways power all the time,FACT!

  • i bought one last week.its ok for £30,a good laugh.the dealer said it has a muzzle energy of about 8ft/lbs.the type of pellet and the brand of pellet can actually vary this by about 1ft/lb either way.you need to try different ones

  • so wat let me get this strait:

    you shot

    drop the barrel

    Pot one pellet in

pull the barrel all the way down

then pull the barrel all the way up

    and repeat?

  • @LtJohnny117 yes. it's break barrel cocking action. pulling the front all the way down compresses the spring.

  • Does anyone know if i could hunt rabbits (for food) humanely with this rifle? I guess you'd have to get pretty close and aim for the head?

  • @01467603 if it can easly go through a steel can at 30 metres it should work

  • @01467603 right placement shot

  • @01467603 not a chance unless your really close and get a good clean shot to the head or neck that rifle only has about 9-10ftp and i would recomend 12ftp for rabbit hunting

  • @01467603 No this won't kill them.

  • @01467603 hi, does this rifle shoot through tin cans? im trying to gauge how powerful it is, thanks

  • @seanymo easily! it will go completely through a tin can at ~10m (probably even at a larger distance).

  • @01467603 whats the fps on it ? if its higher than 500 hundred you can shoot up to about 15-20 m away, my webley hawk mk3 has a 700/800 fps and kills instantly up to thirty metres

  • @01467603

have u done hunting with it?

    is it any good?

    ty

  • @01467603 this rifle will be just fine for all small game animals just research the best pellet to use for rabbit hunting and make sure that u hunt the rabbits in the right time a year because this time a year they have rabies

  • @CHOPERUS23 No way is it about velocity. you are so confused. go back to the drawing board mate. Higher calibre, more damage, simple

and dont shoot foxes, you tit!

  • I agree that it is pretty accurate yeah but it is not the most damaging, I have one without a scope that I use at air cadets and I have my Marksman, Air Rifles, Snier and my Expert target badges! + well done 4 shooting teh target 30 m??? thats a fucking long way!

  • that is pretty far

  • where did you buy the scope from? .......i want one

  • lets face it you get what you pay for with air rifles. Even tho this gun is a pile of shit its still an ok plinker.

  • where did you get this gun? and does it have a low enough power for under 14 year olds in the UK to use it?

  • No. you can only use a air rifle when you are over 14 with a 21 year old with you.

Any body can use a air rifle over 14 with the rifle being under 12ft lbs.

  • i got that air rifle when i was 12

  • @jakebath Could you use it on your own? If so thats illegal. Just check the uk air rifle laws.

  • yeah i use it when ever i want my uncle has his own land....FUCK THE LAW !

my brother has a Mk1 Bren gun and he uses it

  • @djrees77 What are you 12? nobody cares about the law...

  • @Samstrat94 I have to.... Next door neighbour is a copper.

  • @djrees77 So are my parents never stopped me aha.

  • Comment removed

  • i got that air rifle when i was 12

  • Is this gun any good for a cheapo like me and would it hurt someone badly just in case i accidentally shot someone, because my dad said he would get one and i don't want to hurt anyone or anything accidentally.

  • it would rip them in half no doubt about it. even hitting their foot would cause shockwaved up their body causing them to explode!

no im joking, probably not if it could you would need a licence for it.

  • Yes it would hurt someone badly, mine is well under legal limit (9ft/lb) and goes straight through baked bean cans at 20~ metres no problem.

  • a 1.77 and a 2.2 air gun has the same kind off power, the 2.2 is a bigger pellet, and you get a better kill, with the larger kill spot, hollow pellets, are for quick kills, , if you use a flat pellet for rats and what ever , its cruel ,you dont get a clean kill, there are diffrent types of pellets for the job you want done,. so have a good choice, try shooting your mates, with a pointed one and a flat headed one, see which pellet gets you a broken noise.... vermin cant tell you if it hurts ,

  • no .22 caliber pellet caires a lot more energy

  • how is using a flat pellet cruel for rats since it is going to kill one either way...

  • 01467603 wats pellets does it takes?

  • .177 lead pellets. they are pretty small.

  • @TtheChosen1 most any pallets that are 4.5mm in diameter dont use plastic ones or you will have to clean the barrel

  • anyone got instructions on how to take this apart? iv been searching for ages!!!

    thanks

  • yes easily

  • can it kill birds and small rodents?

  • i would not use it for this.Get a larger caliber air rifle.

  • What kind of shit advice is that? Get a bigger Calibre. I have taken foxes with my .177 which by the looks of it is a lot more powerful than that. It is nothing to do with Calibre it's all to do with Velocity

  • dude. it's true. why do they make hollow point bullets then??

you could have a microscopic round that travels very fast but it isn't going to inflict much damage! It's stopping power you want right? A larger round is going to damage a wider area more likely to result in a kill. A caliber will be more accurate but will not transfer the same energy (damage) to the target.

  • So wrong. A hollowpoint has no relevance to calibre thats round type. If a tiny .177 pellet hits the kill zone it will kill just as quickly as a larger calibre. You have a lot to learn. Have a look at my vids. I killed a rabbit at 100 yards with my "microscopic" .177 pellet.

  • so a .22 caliber pellet at 1000 fps doesnt hurt more then a .177 at 1000 fps...wrong...a .22 carries mor energy still at 800 fps u sir have a lot to learn and the energy on the pellets also makes it go farther more acuratly too

  • @Thatkid5465

Hurt more? what do you shoot?your friends.

You ssay I need more to learn, I can shoot any day better than you so piss off. Besides if you hit the sweet spot of an animal it is dead using any calibre. Dead is dead, whether it hurts more is not an issue!

.177 is more accurate too, why do you think all the top ft/hft shooters choose this calibre.

  • my friends? wtf? first off your shooting really expensive rifle and second why does the military use .50 caliber sniper rifles? why not just use .177? and second a spring psiton gun isn't always going to hit the "sweet spot" since it does have recoil not like your 1000 dollar airguns. also top shooters in ft/hft shooters choose .177 because their guns aren't aloud to produce more then 15 and 20 ft lbs ft/lbs and a .22 caliber gun will easily do that and they are also shooting a maximum distance

  • You talk shit! Not allowed more than 15 or 20 ft/lb.

Actually there are two classes, 6ft/lb and 12ft/lb so please stop acting like you know about something you clearly don't.

Your fuckin crazy talking about hunting deer and all that shit, all this came from a comment saying .177 is better for target shooting and your talking about deer!

    Fuckoff

  • ok cause you know im right that .22 is better and that a .22 sould exceed your 6 or 12 ft ilbs easily so...sorry but you know im right an your wrong

  • Speak the English language properly. You have been given the right to speak it, and I may understand what your message actualy means.

  • lol ok you play your little stupid games but just you know im right buddy...you probably think you know so much but your .177 caliber rifles aren't going to take deer and what not...if you shoot a groundhog and you don't get it sweet spot you not goin to kill it but you wont experince that cause you have your 1000 dollar pcp guns that dont have recoil what so ever...a little spring piston recoil hurts you arm? also i mostly hunt with .22 rifles and i would prefer that way more than your guns

  • First of all, dont hunt deer with an air gun!

Secondly my 1000 dollar air rifles actually cost 1100 british pounds.

Last but not least, you have fun with your medieval spring gun. I will take the added consistency and accuracy which comes with modern precharged pneumatics.

  • ok you go and be full of of yourself because you can afford that much on airguns....i also have a gamo big cat....and also did you watch the video. why wouldn't you hunt deer with an airgun? they are perfecly able to kill a deer...also you realise your gun cost over 1500 more dollars than the gun on the video...a break barrel isn't always goint to hit the "sweet spot" so with a .22 caliber break barrel if you miss you still have a better chance of killing the animal since it carries more energy.

  • explain this to me....177 cal pellet 8 grains shooting at 1000 fps has 17 ft. ilbs....22 cal pellet 14.3 grains traveling at 1000 fps has 32 ft lbs..also if you shoot a deer in the head your not goin to want to mount that on your wall and unless you get a lucky shot in one of the vital organs you not going to kill it.... i would also like to seee you try to hunt alligator with your .177 gun...make sure you shoot it in the "sweet spot" probably won't even penetrate the skin....

  • Your crazy man, hunting deer and alligators with Air Rifles! Back to Modern Warfare for you stupid fuckin American.

  • sorry i dont play that game and you've never heard of alligator hunting and also look up large game airgun hunting on youtube....they hunt deer and antelope and people have hunted buffalo with airguns

  • Yes but not with crappy b2 spring guns you idiot, 10,000 dollar precharged pneumatics firing .50cal or .45.

Quakenbush is the company who makes them.

  • ever hear of the career dragon slayer or sam yang guns...all under 1000 dollars

  • Yes heard of them and they can stay in korea for all I care, waste of money.Poorly made, very powerful but not accurate.

  • ok you can go streotype them then caise i bet you never shot one so how do you no if they are accurate or not? remember we this started over you saying that why get a .22 caliber...i have taken a fox with my .177....well he was saying that because this is a 0 dollar break barrel so if you miss the sweet spot with a .177 you have less a chance to kill it then with a .22

  • i ment to say 80 dollar

  • Yeah but you have got to hit the target in the first place!

Nice for once to see these chinky air rifles used safely, the chavs disposable choice.

  • lol :) thanks

  • @jhareng dont worry the idiots who dont use these safely will come in contact with my friend and yours "natural selection"

  • a 1.77 has less kinetic energy

a 2.2 has more kinetic energy coz it a bigger pellet

  • @01467603 agreed for life example what gonna hurt more a .50 round or a 5.56 yes they will kill in theright spots of corse but the .50 will inflict greater damage

  • a gold ball going at 50 mph at your stomach or a bowling ball going at 20 mile...which one does more damage?

  • @Thatkid5465

First of all, if you can actually shoot then it does not matter what calibre you use.

    Through the brain with a .177 or .50 doesn't matter,dead stone dead.

A larger calibre just gives a larger room for error.

Look for kill zone sizes for various calibres and see for yourself.

  • first off i ment to say golf ball not gold balland secondyour saying what if your hunting deer? also .22 produces more energy so you can shoot farther distances a lot more acurate

  • an 8 graim pellet(average pellet size for .177) going at 800 fps has 11.37 ft pounds.....14.3 grain(average pellet size for .22 calibider) going at 800 fps has 20.33 ft pounds....if your hunting ground hogs you would have a lot better chance with the .22 then .177 now wouldnt you?

  • @CHOPERUS23 You are so fucking retarded. I suggest you do a basic course in PHYSICS 101.

  • @01467603

    Retarded? Hardly.

  • beacause you use 2000 dollar airguns...this is a 80 dollar break barrel!!

  • @CHOPERUS23 Late I know, but it's not actually about velocity, its about ft/lbs, knockdown power.

  • @CHOPERUS23 you are a nobhead. Why on earth would you want to shoot a fox, you bumder. I hope a fox eats your first born child and then eats you very slowly and painfully.

  • @PokeFusions12

    BLOW ME

  • @CHOPERUS23 i thought 177. was more accurate but less powerful and the 22. was more powerful but less accurate

  • @MrAbe97

No mate, both calibres are as powerful as each other. A .177 pellet is a lot faster and smaller than a .22 but still carries the same power. At 50 Yards a .177 pellet is travelling the same speed as a .22 pellet that has just left the barrel.

Both are accurate but the .177 more so as it is quicker and spends less time being affected by the wind.

  • half the guys reveiwing this gun say dont shoot animals it will only injure them yet some people say it is great for killing things -_- i am confused

  • depends on what pellets you use i have pellets that will destroy the animal and 1's that dont really do anything but more accurate

  • rabbits and small animals, and they're nice for eating

  • i have to agree mate i too have a b2 standard .22 and i have had a go at the animals i shot a pigeon at fairly close distance and i swear it lived the pellet must have skimmed its head or missed its head and gone in and out my neighbour had to ring its neck and never shoot hedgehogs because it doesent kill them just tortures them.

  • yes this produces porbably 15 ft pounds where a ground hog ussually needs around 30 ft. pounds...(huge difference) your gun needs to go like 900 fps at least to kill one

  • Ah jeez man... why would you want to shoot a flippin' hegehog? I can't believe this sxxt.

I'll have to stop reading airgun comments as it's like 'airgun' = 'compulsory hunter of small animals and birds'.

Why not stick to cans or other non-living targets?

  • because you can use them for pest control, or for sport or small game hunting for food. people use em for different things, get a grip.

  • Yeh but not hedgehogs, they're not classed as vermin you idiot. In fact they're endangered

  • depends on the size of the animal that your hunting mostly

  • i wanna put a bipod on mine... any ideas?

  • *help*

if got an theoben rapid and an FX typhoon and they both kick ass. but i have to keep filling them back up with air which cost money. and i was thinking about buying this just to shoot stuff off my garden fence but i would also like the satisfaction of know it could kill something like i use my other guns for. so would .177 or .22 be better on an less powerful gun to shoot maybe a rabbit and kill it

  • The general rule of thumb is .22 is for hunting and .177 for target. But that doesn't mean you can't hunt with .177 or target with a .22. For cost effectiveness and availability, go for .177 and you just need about 490+ fps with 8+ grain hunting pellets to do some damage to mice sized animals.

  • well my .22 fx typhoon is bang on accurate and kills anything up to a big ass croq with a good shot. but i don't like refilling it all the time. do you have this gun ?

  • sorry m8 but thats not the rule of thumb at all, the rule is .177 for feathers and .22 for fur sorry but i just had to correct you there

  • Yea, that would be true, but I'm talking about the 400 to 600 fps range for airguns like the B2. Then the extra mass of the .22 makes a better clean kill than a .177. Of course, it depends on the pellets, too.

  • the pellets don't effect the kill that much as you guys think it does...fps and the weight of a pellet effect if you kill it or not a lot more

  • of .55 yards so why would they need a .22 when a .177 can do that easily....also they have very high percision rifles...but sreiously a .22 caliber rifle produces a lot more energy to carrier the pellet longer distances and kill a lot more easily...also a .177 travels faster so it has a flatter trajectory so the shooter don't have to compisate for a much drop....22 caliber gun is still a lot better...i think i would rather hunt deer with a .50 cal then .177...

  • is it good 4 hunting birds > ?

  • What do you use as a target?

  • how much did it cost , and where can i get one?

  • £40, any airgun shop

  • online, 40$

  • how much is this gun at walmart???

  • walmart dosnt sell airguns. these things can kill

  • yes they do, and for the most part, no they can't. you need to be trying really hard to kill someone with a BAM b2...

  • yo can't get it at walmart, you would need to find somewhere that sells cheap chinese guns

  • well check out my video i got many video on pellet/air rifle

  • are ur sure that a .177 cause i got the same gun that shoot .22 instead of .177

  • haha. yes i'm 100% positive! there is a .177 and a .22 version of the B2.

  • o ok cause i got the .22 version

  • hi there i was going to buy one of these but when i went to my local gun shop he said he wanted even give me one there terrible they break after a month but if u want a cheap air rifle to shoot bits of paper buy one there only £30!!

  • Helpful advice:

you should cock the rifle before you put the pellet in, it reduces the chance of pinching the pellet

but nice rifle, i underestimated the quality of smk until recently

  • what fps is it

  • nice video i got the same gun watch my video

  • is this definitely worth the money? i was thinking of saving for a BSA meteor mk6, but this is £100 less, so should i get this?

  • if you're starting off this isn't a bad rifle. you can always upgrade to a better one after...

  • You can pick them up for £30 off the internet but by law they can't send them and most shops don't sell them as there terrible air rifles your better off gettin a bsa there a mutch better gun and last 10x as long!!

  • how much for this model ???? ,..........

  • 40 pounds

  • I've modified my B2 into a carbine sawnoff! I sawed the butt of the stock off and sawed half the barrel off. Believe it or not it doesn't lose any power just a bit of accuracy. Good for home defence for us limeys who can't have real guns lol.

  • your a retard...you are going to use a pellet gun for home and personal defense? might as well just kill urself right now fuck face

  • lol goddamn some people are rude...maby he bought it just to have fun with it...its dip shits like you that think all guns are for self defense..and fuck face? come on what are you 5? Its time to grow up.

  • nooo wii...you got me wrong bud... i pretty much was trying to tell someone else what you told me... Im from canada...like come on man, half our population doen't know what a gun is...and the ones who do are 99 percent hunters, 1 percent gang members

  • ohhh.....In that case im sorry for being a dick = )

  • you have canadian gangsters, now ive heard everything :D

    jokes man <3

Greetings from over seas ! (England)

  • lol

  • ahah, canadian chav's. lol. (also from GB)

  • :) don't worry about it

  • i also have a b2 but its a carbine gas mod its not bad and the velocity is quite impressive the tree in my back garden is pretty smashed to bits off the cone tipped sharck rounds i use lol its also good for fishing as i foun out last summer ha ha

  • mat its better when you fire the barrett 50 kal guys ive got a permission for me to be aloud to fire one or have one

  • lol haha I doubt you even have permission to stay out on school nights, much less fire a .50 BMG

  • what fps is your air rifle

  • i got a smk 22 air rifle.can i make it more powerful?

  • i have this rifle but with no scope

  • do air rifles make alot of noise?

  • no. about as loud as slamming a door (hard :))

  • thanks

  • pussie im 11 and i shot a 243 without fear...

  • grow a pair boy

  • why would you fear shooting a gun faggot.

you should fear being on the other side of the trigger and how is he a pussie for owning an air rifle, whereas you pulled a trigger OMFG.

  • when i was 11 i shot a semi AK carbine while visitng family in eastern europe :P plus i wouldnt start calling other people pussy's at age 11 lol

  • Got a new one yet dude. Check out ft shooting position vid on youtube and it will give you ideas on how to sit/kneel properly to help your aim and accuracy. Nice garden, can shoot whenever you want.

  • what would anybody reccomend for a beginner with these wants:

    .177 caliber

    spring loader

    between £80-£120

    cheers if anyone answers.

  • can get it cheaper

  • yeah

  • ow it looks easy to shot from tht rifle but its not and ohh yeah the targed hes using is TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LARGE!!1!!!!!!! i put for my target 1 cigaret to 30 m

and its easy to shot sometimes u miss and some times u hit i love AIR RIFLES!!!

  • you can shoot at whatever size target you want idiot, and "sometimes you shoot sometimes you miss"... that's life kid, you will be disappointed looking for anything else.

  • notice the way the barrel breaks on it's own after the shot-pretty safe

  • tomtollady, were your momma and poppa brother and sister???? you retard

  • Good sniper :P

  • Shot this, didn't expect there to be kick, and it startled me. luckily it didn't hurt. You know for a .177 its got hard ass kick.

  • hey im about to get one of these air rifles and can u tell me how much a scope costs in autralia and do u rekomend me to get one

  • ohh i would recomend maybe a 3-9x 40 or a 3-7 x 20 3-9 x 40 i would definatly recomend.

  • i just got a b2 off a mate the sites are shit what scope would u recomend

  • ur lucky you got a lot of land.

do you shoot anything else apart from targits ????

  • dammit, whats with you people and the B2, its a £35 air rifle, it CAN take birds up to 20 meters, 30 if you include a scope. sure its unnacurate compared to £300 air arms and shit, but its just £35.

  • Quality shootin, wana know tho do you have to get the scope allready fitted or can you buy and install yourself? and how much if you can buyit please mate?

  • you can do it yourself, make sure the scope is rated for air guns though ;)

  • what is the best the .22 or the 177?

  • .177 for accuracy. .22 for stopping power.

  • thanks

  • I'm curious. After you have fired, the barrel broke by itself, then you loaded & cocked. But when you put rifle down to rest, the barrel did not break. What brand name is that, please?

  • you have to press a button on the barrel to break it

  • hey i was wonderin how much did th scope cost and how much do u rekon it would in australia??

  • so can that gun use either?

  • no just .177 caliber

  • ur stopping power dont mean much when u got the .177 accuracy to pull the shot off otherwise keep practising .177 always the way in my books :)

  • My husband says it the rifle if choice for the average poor person as it costs around the same a 1 weeks Job Seekers Allowance (dole, and yes my husand shoots, an AA s410.

  • poor person! i'm shooting in my back yard there!

  • not everyone can afford to spend lots on an air rifle and have to make do with what they can afford

  • ok ty is it any powerfuller

  • im getting a b4 under-lever air rifle its my first one is it any good??plz reply.
