Hmmm. Let's see. The Great lakes flow NORTH out the St Lawrence, in the direction of the Pole (generally). That's because the lakes are higher than the north end of the river. Also, the globe is flattened at the poles because of the weight of the ice caps. Sooo, if the ice melts, the caps will start to rise as the ice weight is removed. The end of ST.
