  • This is a beautiful video and I can't believe they disabled the song. I had never heard it and downloaded it from Itunes solely because of this video. That sux.

  • what was the name of the song?

  • Comment removed

  • i just finished fixing up my bike and cannot wait till this years festival! see you all there

  • wtf no audio? that's fucked up

  • Who knows what the nose knows? Speak beak...

  • life goal: to go there sometime in the next several years

  • Damn, I've never seen a rainbow that perfect...

  • i wanna be a unicorn

  • me too

  • bmxboy443 obviously has a pathetic life if he has to criticise people for the way they want to live their lives.

when im enjoying my time at music festivals i hope he is enjoying his time in what he refers to as "the real world". lmfao

  • yea i quit riding my bmx when i was 12. thats when i had to enter "the real world"

  • well its not even that i have a prob with people who ride bmx. i ride myself whenev i get the chance. but i don't think there is a definition of the "real" world. what makes something "real" ya know?

  • according to gallup polls 1 in 12 americans are unaware that the bird is the word. I for one dream of an america where everybody knows that the bird is the word.B-b-b-bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word

A-well-a bird, bird, bird, the bird is the word

A-well-a bird, bird, bird, well the bird is the word

A-well-a bird, bird, bird, b-bird's the word

A-well-a bird, bird, bird, well the bird is the word

  • bmxboy443 its people like YOU that make americans look stupid, im so sick of people like you on youtube, and to be honest you bore me to death and i dont even know you.

  • Egy csoda. Jövőre ugyanitt, hadd égjen...

  • I have only just heard about this and too late to attend 2008. Thanks for the vid and you will have 2 brits coming over for sure next year

  • Nevermind the Agents Of Douche, AaronPava...Your video rocked. Thanks for the love. :-)

  • I really like the music, can you please tell me, who's the artist? greetings from switzerland!

  • looks like a amazeing place il be their someday

  • fucking choice!

  • CooooL! =)

Where can i find music from this video?

  • this sucks zozobra is way better

  • i plan on going soon with my cousin

  • wonderfull

  • Just a bunch of 30 something bay area weirdos. sweet.

  • Yeah nothing like smoking bowls with naked, sweaty granola chicks with hairy armpits talking about how much you hate George Bush.

    Thanks I'll stay home

  • LOL Agreed.

  • Yup - no will ever put a gun to your head and make you go.

  • Yeah please: STAY HOME! Our tolerance DOES know bounds, douchebag.

  • Next year i guess:)

  • I love the way you dream....

  • Beautiful video.

    Thanks for sharing.

    be safe this year!

  • what is this?? a festival? a rave? EDC? looks nuts

  • Its more then that.

    ;)

  • Awesome!!!

  • Oh..still the monetary issue.

Someday, if it doesn't get ruined.

  • I live in Ireland. And also 17. which is in all probability below the age limit to get in. Broke, too.. Can you imagine how I feel about this? It's like..spiritual plexiglass..

enjoy it for me, whoever's going

  • no age limit...

  • @VoonlapseMertigo You posted this 2 years ago so you'll be the same age as me now Im guessing, Im from the UK, bought my ticket, saved up and now buying my plane ticket tomorrow; it can be done!

  • Great Music ! Nice Documentary without going overboard. What is it, the music, that is ??

  • The Way You Dream - Michael Stipe & Asha Bhosle

  • A total waste of air LOL...some lil boy in need of bad attention cuz his mommy never spanked him or gave him enough good attention....poor poor boy.

  • You *laugh* understand nothing. *laugh*

  • I agree with you in the sense that the stupid frat boy ravers who come so far to places like burning man and shambhala just for an excuse to party shouldn't be doing so, but burning man is an amazing idea. A gathering of art in the middle of the desert is what burning man started as (and then once it hit the mainstream, proceeded to attract every frat boy who needed an excuse to do cocaine without feeling guilty.)

  • if you have never been to burning man you should just keep quiet about it, I know you have never been because if you had you could never write those things about it, and your comments are negative and probably a good representation of who you are as a person

  • what on earth would give you the idea that i am a hippie, take a look and my top videos and please try to come up with a more fitting label for me

  • OK, a shit-music loving...hippie....?

  • so YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN! STFU!!! do you see all the artwork and the girl with the fire poi. have you ever done something even half as creative as that? or are you only good at doggin on youtube videos?

    word of advice-get a life

  • 1st off, nice 420 in your name... figured you'd be a worthless pothead... as for the girls doing the fire poi... that's a hobby, i do "creative" things that get me money... like being an electrician...-.-...

2ndly... good job saying "get a life"...you know, because apparently you're the one who decides what a life consists of... you should consider saying "change your life", before you start spitting orders lol...

  • no, get a life...

    lol

  • whoa whoa whoa... who says you have to be a hippie to go camp out in a desert and enjoy shit tons of music and art? many people would much rather prefer terms such as... connoisseur. haven't been yet but i can't wait. oh lol, and anyone who lists 300 as their favorite movie isn't very in touch with their artistic side... just saying. so you probably wouldn't understand half the reasons why people attend burning man.

  • ya know, for some odd reason... most of the 'hippies' I know work in the food industry. and not fast food either, I'm talking some pretty nice sit down restaurants which last I checked... is a REAL job. so watch out who ya piss off man, just sayin. you could end up with pubes on your steak next time cause someone actually recognized you.

  • that's nice?

because, you know, I'm gonna go to a sit-down restaurant.... and one of these 130k people who watched the vid, are gonna be serving me food... and they'll recognize the default...?

    good logic...

  • u r stupid

  • and using one letter to make a word isn't?

how cute...he thinks his opinion matters...

you didn't enter the "real world" at age 12 either you dumbfuck...

ever since i was 14 I've had a job... you know, doing that thing that your mommy and daddy do for you so you can have some lunch money...?

  • you would be surprised at how many rich executives go to burning man...

  • Wow dude, you really are The biggest Douche EVER.

  • if i may sir, YOU are the one fighting with people using text comments on YOUTUBE.

    grow. the. fuck. up.

  • that was magical

  • I LOVE the guy at 3:18-3:21! :-) This is a great song and wonderful video. I WILL go to Burning Man.. if I survive the Peace Corps... :-D Thank you for sharing this with us.

  • u two look perfect together, and i really really like the vid it looked liked a time and a half out in the desert, where is it?

  • The song is by 1 Giant Leap called The Way You Dream... I love the song and this is an awesome video! I can't wait to go back home!

  • Anyone know the name of the song in the video? :)

  • this year I can't make it, but next year, I'm there

  • i don't get it, what is this burning man thing??

  • it is a radical art and expression festival where you can do anything you want within the boundaries of the law, the wildest shit you can think of, you can do it

  • what song is this

  • your video has been one of the best i have seen and brings out the nice tranquility of BURNING MAN! rock on man keep it up with the great videos!!!!

    )'(

  • Every generation has it's freaks!

    Can you say Marshall Applewhite?

  • Never been to burning man but it is dream to go next year. Will be 25 then so better hurry up and start saving now!

  • should i go to burning man?

  • yeahhhh dude:)

  • Fuck yes, everybody should, it;s about your only chance to live in Utopia

  • Except in utopia people don't act like children. and their not all White college kids on drugs.

  • Dont they? Children have not yet experienced the shitty things life throws at them, they are open and full of wonder! the people you encounter @ B Man are like that, they are more themselves than they're ever allowed to be in society & the demographic is children to octegenarians. Truly not just white kids on drugs, most of us high on life.

    Check it out my friend

  • Wont go again since the price jump the price jumped from 75$ to what ever it is now? It's fun and all- the desert is beautiful; but theirs things just as good and better. Really the people who love Burningman the most are the ones who live in cubicles and have that one week all year that they look forward to. And thats it. kind of like waiting all week for Saturdaynight. plus its now all white and clothed, cops in golfcarts? Their used to be a live drive by shooting range!!

  • I live off the grid in NM & couldn't find the box if my life depended on it. I'm English & there folk don't talk to strangers & cover their mouths if they smile to themselves.B. Man changes that e.g. "dickie in the box" guy was so shy he had a terrible time, met no one etc. went back next year & made art installation of himself, everyone met him & loved him. I agree about the cop thing totally out of hand. LOVED the shooting range go to a regional burn they're still small. I love Toast in AZ!

  • hi, i don't get why they charge so much money for an event in the middle of the dessert that supposidly encourages freedom, sharing and communal effort? this seems weird to me could anybody clear that up?

  • commerciaism. it's everywhere.

  • Plus, it costs a shiiitload of money to make an event this size! Believe me!

  • it costs a fortune to put it on and even more to clean up after us

  • Burning Man is just another example of why "Utopia" is so far-fetched for average white America. The opportunity for freedom has been snuffed out by self-serving politics and greed. In the end, it's ALL about money to so many who claim to be exempt from those mental boundaries. It's possible to go to Burning Man and ignore all that... but the contamination of a great idea is evident. AND it's as expensive as a ticket to SE Asia when it's all over with. Go there!

  • What song is this?

  • I'd LOVE to go to burning man and I WILL one day but I live in the UK <:-( The idea of pure freedom and fun in the desert is like heaven. Oh and 'jump102jump' you suck! I aint a fucking hippie and I'd love to go lol.

  • >300 a ticket already? :(

    I really want to go.

I'm doing my research paper on Burning Man, lol. Counts for 60% of my grade.. maybe I can use this vid as a primary source.

It's ironic.. using this topic for the academic system... for a grade. institutional responsibility. Burning Man is where you forget alla bout that junk.. so writing about it and doing research on it makes me feel a little better, balances things out.. because it's refreshing just picturing being there when reading about it

  • be there this this summer. I can already feel the energy

  • Its a simple for of escapism, while you masturbate, or stitch your finger in various of your orifices, other ppl like to get naked and burn big wood mans (those bastards, thats why tey are extinct), so its not anyhow different to what you do to escape from your reality... perhaps drougs... i dunno.

    Cheers

  • LAME

  • You dont need drugs, save those for your normal existance.

  • Sounds awesome I wanna go!

  • hurry up they are almost sold out of tickets and are 312.75 after the charges got mine a few min ago. Still worth it but d@mn. Nothing else like it thats why I go from the west coast and met people there from everywhere

  • They don't sell out of tickets, they just get more expensive.

  • Que saudade!

  • awesome video, you capture burning man perfectly!

  • The only place I ever felt "at home". A perfect song for a perfect place!

  • iam thinking of going. do they have an ample supply of marijuana there. or should i bring my own

  • bring everything

  • If we Do bring such a cornucopia of drugs, are we and our belongings searched before entering? or is it pretty laid back with the illegal substances as long as you don't blatantly proclaim you have any , or there are no police within the complex?

  • there are a few police. it does not seem like they look for trouble but dont be stupid and carry a 3 foot bong through center camp. Nothing is searched just seemed like a quick look through to make sure no one is sneaking in without paying there 312.75. Shrooms and water are your friend. 121 days till home appears again to refresh my soul.

  • Wealthy-Hedonistic-Living-in-LaLa-Land-Liberals turning the desert into Las Vegas once again!

The "Charlie the Unicorn" references were funny though. Hahahaha!

  • Wow, what an amazing compilation of the gorgeous flow of people and art compiled at this years event. i was there and am still amazed at the array of spectacles that eluded me. thank you for posting this. I love the unicorn people - they are my long lost tribe - see you in 2008!

  • ive always wanted to go ware is it held at in calie or navada but i know i would have ablast

  • Hopefully I can make it out this year. I have always wanted to go.

  • The most beautiful people in the world gather to display their talents for a week; My family. I look forward to coming home in August.

    The Locksmith

  • woooOOow!! looks great!! one ticket please!

  • the song : The Way You Dream - Michael Stipe & Asha Bhosle ...B.M. are the my dream :)

  • Hey, great video. I loved the soundtrack.

I really want to go to Burning Man this year, but I don't know if I can afford the trip there and back.

  • I wish I'll go there one day...8->

  • Looks like fun... I'll have to read up on it more

  • The BM festival blew my mind and changed my life forever...

The people, the art, integration, other dimension... What I liked most about it was the sky...hehehehe... This video says it all after 4 mins... )'(

    Cheers!!

  • what music is played here....

  • Yes, what are the names of the songs and artists of the music in this video?

  • well put,most likely true.

however, things are perpetuated by the constant mentioning of them, whether in good or bad form.

  • if race means "nothing special" at BM... then why bring it up ?

  • perhaps an acknowledgment of someone's desire for it to simply dissolve away?

  • i tripped bananas 2 years ago at burning man

  • Spreadin some couple luvins on the playa... nice video.

  • I wanna indulge...

  • do you get many brits there?

  • beautiful video

  • yeah charlie --- C A N D Y - M O U N T I A N

  • Haha never mind. I finished the video, and that answered my question! :P

  • Was Camp Candy Mountain and the horns at all a reference to Charlie the Unicorn?

  • maybe its just me but i haven't seen a black person in there so..just askin...it's not just for white folks issit?

  • lol theres ppl of every color and religion there! It's great to go to a place where race or color mean nothing. I seen practically every color there! even the Pope! (Well someone was dressed in a pope costume lol) We are all family there!

  • Sounds awesome :) It's really nice that there are places where u can be what u rly are deep inside u and let it out. Gotta come to burning man some year!

    -Vuotaraaputin, Finland

  • Burningman is the most nonjudgemental place I have ever been -- there are not many blacks there - don't know why. Burningman is extremely inclusive -- race means nothing special at BM.

  • thats cool :D

  • i want to go sooo bad. next year maybe. on th east coast so makes it difficult.

  • amazing!! :) L0L

  • Captivating and pleasant in a colorful way.

  • Thank you for this.

  • it would be cooler if you placed 100 orgonite around it then you would hook into somthing that you would not belive...peace

  • Wow, Beautifully made. Wonderful track to accompany it too. Thanks.

  • What was the music you used? Very cool.

  • ONE GIANT LEAP » THE WAY YOU DREAM

  • wish i could of been there.

  • Burning Man looks just to be the damned coolest event /ever/. I plan on taking my lovely girlfriend with me sometime very soon in the future. Probably not next year, but maybe the year after. Do you have any suggestions for first timers?

  • ...yes. Dont put it off, not even for a year.

  • go with a girlfriend!

    don't take anybody you love!

    :)

BM either makes a relationship or breaks it.

  • It's a shame I live in the UK

I would love to attend Burning man:)

    Maybe next year:)

  • Burning Man.

    Mothman.

    Burning Mothman.

  • Having a picnic out in deep playa and watching the burn is a great idea . . . it looked really peaceful . . . unlike the madness of being close to the burn. Good job!

  • oh my good god.

    I am in awe.

I am posting my vid from Georgia Burn Alchemy. I hope you LOVE it...

AfterBurn is coming to Florida in NOV.

i've never been to the big burn...this was my first glimpse...i must go!

  • Hey 7 o'clock & Boreal, thats our exact corner were we were camped :) .. how cool!

  • "Mother Nature: the ultimate theme camp!" Great phrase!! It was a magical rainbow there, kinda cleansed the playa of the egotistical arson dude. Viva The Man!

  • The best part, not captured, was a dude walking up to us right after and whispering, "no - the *mind* is the ultimate theme camp..."

  • Brother Aaron, Thank you for capturing the moment. Our trip was just like yours!

  • Everything changes...thank God. Still more smiles per capita than any other event on Earth.

  • burning man changed a lot... back in the day i went and it was way different

  • Your video does a great job capturing not only some of the coolest art that was there, but also the vibe and experience of it all.

Thank you. I will watch this over and over to relive the first time i discovered what burning man was all about.

  • uuuhhh yeah, so it is..your video is like a breath: " again...pppsssttt....again!!"

    thanks so much

  • beautiful!

  • must go to burning man!

  • The song is "The Way You Dream" by Michael Stipe & Asha Bhosle from the 1 Giant Leap movie.

  • Michael Stipe from REM?

  • the whole vid is great...but the music is a good choice...who is the performer(s)???I don't think is DcD...
