NEWSFLASH!!!

Always check the storm drains Edith....fer chrisake, get with the program!! They must be checked yearly, preferably BEFORE the friggin Monsoon hits. SoCal has notoriously poor soil, and when it gets to the point called "supersaturation", the weight of the water overcomes the frictional bond between the soil particles. When this happens you are basically screwed! Sooooo! You can only enjoy the mudride to the bottom of the ravine....IF the fires don't get you first. Enjoy the sun!!

Here in pennsylvania we have been getting a lot of snow and fast. Then it gets warm and melts during the day, then freezes to solid ice at night. It makes the roads very bad. Lovely weather around the world huh? haha

Meanwhile, here in New York, everything is icy from our snowstorm.

BTW, my Miami home is still recovering from Hurricane Wilma 2 ½ years later. Our 26 story Condo was hit by a Tornado born from Wilma. Everyday you can go insane from the workmen's drills working on all the terraces. This is just the tip of the iceberg about the restoration. Yes, I was there when it hit.
