I first watched this movie on a crappy 5 inch inflight movie screen and the music sounded amazing then. At home on a 42 inch LCD with 5.1 surroundsound - it was second to none. Without a doubt, my favourite movie soundtrack. And this version is gorgeous. Great work.

When I listed to it from start to finish I get that sensation of flying into space. The bassy beginning feels like you are on a starting rocket bound on some important mission into outer space....then when you get there the stunning music just overwhelms your sensations as you glance upon the Earth that is falling further away into darkness....at 6.40 you SMILE realizing that flying away into space is what you ever wanted to achieve in life. I love this song so much, it's so relaxing and it unleashes a lot of emotion whenever I hear it. In my opinion, Sunshine has the best score a movie has ever had, the songs are amazing and so is the movie. I could probably watch this movie over 50 times and not get tired of it. I could also listen to the songs over and over again and they'll still have the same relaxing, emotional effect on me as if it was my first time hearing it.

"Sunshine" is one of the greatest and most under-credited movies of all time. I don't think there could have been a more fitting, and more deserving film to have this theme written along-side it. I've never witnessed a film and soundtrack to have completely matched and complimented each other fully until I saw this film and heard this soundtrack. Awesome.
