so far it isn't so much that decimal is something special but rather that by doing those multiple tables and then using kid arithmetic to reduce them back again, you reach a more fundamental layout than dealing with these numbers straight up in their uncondensed form.

no, it's because anyone who's studied any mathematics knows exactly what he's doing and it's nothing more than party tricks. there's nothing revolutionary, deep, or even mathematically significant about any of this. he's just playing with patterns that naturally arise from our base-10 numbers and pretending it's some deep insight.

in base-16 numbers, you get different patters, base-8, hell, base-123 would also reveal patterns. that's how numbers work. this isnt even elementary number theory
