We all had to stand up, one by one, in front of the class, and give an oral report on our chosen Canadian icons, and a girl behind me had chosen Terry Fox. She gets called up last, she's reading away, everything's going smoothly, and as soon as she finished reading.....BRRRRRRRT! Everyone busts up laughing, this girl's face goes cherry red, and she runs out of the room. We didn't see her again for the rest of class. She was MORTIFIED. lol

I think Sara Gilbert is lightyears above and beyond her sister, Melissa, in talent as an actress! - I'd love to've seen Melissa choose Sara for the role as Helen Keller, in her production of The Miracle Worker. OK, it might have been seen as nepotism, but it would've been a terrific achievement to add to her resume' rather than a self-aggrandizing joke!
@Vlum88 ~ I never got used to Sarah Chalke's "Becky".. She was too...too sommething..too sweeeet. "Becky" had a great edge to her that Chalke never quite seemed to understand, or communicate~
@Nansbbgrand Agreed. Sarah was too bubbly, didnt have enough attitude and, to me, seemed detatched and out of place. She and Glenn Quinn never had the right chemistry like Lecy and Glenn, either. In the series, Becky was supposed to have been in her late teens/early 20's, but I never got that vibe from Sarah. The producers really dropped the ball on that one.

I also just thought, in addition to everything you menioned, that Sarah was just not a good actress. Her delivery was just unconvincing. I was shocked that she had a career and was actually cast for talent instead of for resembling a sitcom star..

I could not stop laughing when Becky's father was picked to go up to talk to her but he couldn't do it. He was giggling so much. I am sorry but when I hear or see something embarassing.
