This is actually a drum feature than a drum solo. A drum feature is where the drums are the main focal point to the melody of the song with the rest of the band backing him up. A drum solo is where, like a previous poster said, a drummer plays for approximately 5 minutes while the rest of the band is totally silent.

my taste in music has changed drastically in the past years. Before, when I was young and pretty much an idiot, it was all about speed. Fast drummers were my favs. This goes pretty much for every instruments thats in a band (guitar, bass, etc.). But now, when I actually got a freaking brain and started listening to this band of art...I know what having skills in making music are, and all four in Tool got it.
