Haha oh my god I didn't notice the Fox Illusion cancel at 0:49 at first. I can only nail the cancel maybe 10% of the time, and it would have been REALLY unfortunate if he didn't.

I don't have the game or have played it yet but, take advantage of Toon Link while hes in the air. Toon Link can jump very very high as you see in the video which lets you chain more attacks.
