so when that priest says that he believes everything that the bible says literally and he denies that this same book does defend slavery... he only reveals his ignorance about his own religion and religious history.

@AleksisCosta In this case we must examine how the Bible tells people to handle their slaves. This can be found especially in the New Testament.
