I was there March/April 09, it took those lasy bastards 3 days to de ice the Timberline Quad, after a "small ice storm".
I love Sugarloaf and everything about, but, it has flaws, like late in the season, the put the snubber chair, the one goin from all the condo's, in maintenece, and like I said, 3 Fucking days to de ice and Chair lift, when it was like + out,,,, so, i love it, but it has it big flaws.
never seen a mountain close to wind more then this place. Sugarloaf is absolutely the most overrated mountain in New England! Snowfields my ass, they are consistently closed. The mountain is also about 6 hours from civilization.
Sugarloaf is the best of the east.
