@nsspartan77 I actually bought a used 06 GT with 3,200 miles ,garaged kept it was shoe room condition.for $18,200,all I did was whole exhaust system,cams,and Edelbrock supercharger,for a complete total with car of around $27,000,I ran 488 RWHP. Do what I did and look for a used Gt and build it up.I actually love the body style of the 05-09 alot better,and I could'nt be happier.I only have 4,800 miles to this day.

@nsspartan77 From what I heard,you should'nt go over 500 HP (TO THE WHEELS),I don't know how true that is.What I have is,the Edelbrock Competition kit running 10 pounds boost, comp cams stage 1 Blower cams,jba headers, pypes high flow cat's and cherry bomb extreme muffler's,my shop also tuned it with my SCT tuner,so I am putting 488 HP to the wheels and 590 to the crank.You might wanna call Edelbrock just to make sure.Hope this helped ya.

@nsspartan77 Well... Hypothetically speaking, you could put the new 5.0 in an 05-09 body fairly reasonably. Ford sells the crate motor for about $7,000, and for another g-note, they have an entire cpu and harness system. The 05-09 chassis is still the same as the '10 and '11 models, so the motor mounts couldn't be much different. Plumbing for AC would be your biggest dilemma. Not sure how the transmissions are gonna line up, though.

@richarcm Cant. Unless you want a hole shitload of Sensor errors. Best you can do is get the off road H-pipe Gets rid of the catalic convertors, Then he would lose that Popping sound from the Excause, the Mesh in the Convertors causes it to pop when comming down from high idol.
