@maypakialam I think you should think about things before posting them, and how hurtful they can be to people. My problems like this started after the loss of two of my family members. Women who have this problem can also still have sex, still reproduce, it is just very painful. For many women child abuse and rape are things that cause this problem, is that god's will too? I know some of my past experiences could of contributed to the problem also.

I have a friend with the condition. She struggled to find any help other than cold hard facts about the condition. We decided to do something about the lack of help for people with the condition, especially teenagers who did not necessarily want to start a family so a blog is set up. It is quite worrying that there is such a taboo on subjects such as this.

Another new interesting option is to botox your vaginal muscles that are spasming. The "botulism toxin" paralyzes the muscles for 2-4 months while you can in that time period dilate and stretch the muscles until they are stretched. Doing only psychological therapy will get you nowhere. You will NOT be able to control these muscles. To anyone watching this video: Vaginismus is FIRST a muscular condition and SECOND psychological. In fact, vaginismus causes you to be afraud of vaginal insertion because you associate it with the pain caused by the involuntary spasms (psychological issue occuring secondary to the pain.) Don't waste your time doing psychological therapy ONLY.

Vaginismus cannot be cured without treating the muscles. Patient's vaginal muscles contract even when under anesthesia who have vaginismus. A portion of vaginismus is psychological but that's just it: A portion. You're incorrect to say that it is solely psychological. Treating patients and telling them this is abusive. They're not going to get better and you're going to prolong the time that they have this painful condition. I live with Lamont class 5 vaginismus.

It's a condition that causes your muscles inside your vagina to contract (due to whatever pschological reason) and thereby making it tight when a vagina is penetrated. This can cause pain and a burning sensation. It is not a condition whereby you are just born with a smaller than average vagina however, although you can have it from being young and grow up with it and never be capable of having sex (primary vaginismus) or it can be triggred at any pont during your life (secondary vaginismus).

When i had sex at a young age and had been told nothing was wrong with me (later learned i had vaganisus) , i had sex even though it was horibly painfull since i was told it was fine, well when i would get to upset i would clench to hurt the guy back if he was causing me more pain then needed.
