Looks like a very inspiring film. I grew up around that area and played my drums in similar settings and it's the great thing about life.

That mention of Dizzy was great, and the Latin influence.. Max Roach is one of my all time inspirations. Looking foward to seeing the whole film. So how was one able to attend a camp like this, looks like a wide range of people there.. peace

A lot of music fans don't really understand the importance of good drumming. It's the beat that carries the song. We could never walk in our favorite building without the foundation being just right. Yet we don't give too much attention to the foundation. Same in music! We may not give thought to the drums, but they're "carrying" our favorite tunes....
