can anyone can give me a suggest to get my old series land rover can run better? i have one..its 2.3 diesel...and the break system..i also need to double pump to stop my landy...lol..
Well, when you have open diffs you have to. After this trip I went home and fitted the front locker. I found that from this climb I had twisted the splines in my half shafts! If I hit it any harder they would have broken!
I have taken leaves out, softened the suspension quite a bit. No power steering... on 33"x12.5" tyres and the front locker it can be very difficult to turn!
In this clip i'm actually on my road tyres - 30"x9.5" on 15x7" alloy rims.
I now run 33"x12.5" Mickey Thompon Claws on 15x8" steel rims (in the more recent vids). I was lucky and was able to get away with not needing to cut my guards. With these tyres I do get a little bit of rubbing on the chassis at full lock.
