A rock band has at least 2 guitars (lead & rythm), bass and drums - they do have that
Of course the sound may not as rockish as it could be and the lyrics may be safer but it's still rock. Rock means handmade music and thats what they're doing.

Well, in today's music industry, pretty much in every song in every genre has 2 guitars or more including a bass and drums. So what, just because you have certain instruments that are being used in a song, doesn't mean it's rock.or has a bit of it. Remember, its the way you play those instruments that makes it to be rock.
