I didn't like the movie but I'll always remember this song just because it was played everywhere. Department stores, restaurants, along the streets, karaoke. it was a huge hit in Japan. So I always found myself singing along as the tune was always stuck in my head.

i have a feeling she isnt full japanese.... but i cant really be sure. I thought she might not be because of the intonations she uses singing. but then that may be just artistic effect. her physical features are not uncommon for japanese people but i still am not sure.
