Someone like Mcready playing with these wannabes is like Dave Grohl drumming for Silverchair..

While I agree that McCready is a much better musician by miles, you can't say they aren't a band. They play music they love, and they play it well. Right now, I can see how they are kinda at the wannabe level, but I have a feeling that in 10 years (if they ever find new members, that is) they'll be at the top of their game.

Well time will tell..

I always think the real test of a band is if they are still around in ten years,, & are still relevant..

But for me Wolfmother seems to have got a little too much attention too soon..

Yeah I don't think they'll ever be one of the modern rock n roll greats...you know, like Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, RATM/Audioslave...

I honestly don't think they'll be here n 10 years. I'd be surprised if they got a second album out. The singer kicked all the other members out (or they quit, but either way it was b/c he's a dick) and is trying to get new members. It'll be at least 3 years till they get an album out, assuming they do.

:( mike is like that..besides beign a huge fan of the great jimi hendrix...once he recalled how obsessed he was with kiss..total posers really: the disco album..the kiss movie..godawful toys...i was dissapointed by that...then he later said that his favourite band are the stones...well of course the stones own kiss...exile on m. street is the shit, the cocksucker blues tour from 1972...1 word: fucked up & the altamont speedway movie was badass...kiss = for kids & sci-fi fans..anyway pj rocks

mccready is a good songwriter but he is not that good at guitar. i don't see how you think he owned stockdale, half of the video you couldn't even hear him over stockdale's riff, at the end he sounded fine but seriously

Man, Mike is becoming the old school musician givin it up to the younger bands just like say Neil Young or joe perry might have given it up to them . Time sure flies .
