whack their limbs off,let those who have all their limbs experience phantom pain,...like here I have a person who determins how much prosthetic socks I am allowed,and he has all limbs.We as amputees do use our heads and try our best to rid the weird sensations,mind over matter,cause we know there is NO room for the weak in this world.A honest doctor,and a HONEST team,working together for the amputee,will lesson the feelings for sure.Being involved in a compensation case DONT HELP

pain is all in the mind. i learnt early on to ignore the pain as best i could, and i wonder at those who cannot controll thier response to pain.
