Part 1-Episode 90: Final Cut Pro Basic Interface and Settings

For a hobbiest, who is familiar with Final Cut Express and Final Cut Pro, what HD camera would you recommend to buy. I have a Panasonic 3CCD SD right now, but I want to buty a HD Camera. However, I want to make sure that I get a good camera (less than $1000) that will work well in HD with the Final CuT Products. Any thoughts?
