This is such a depressing but beautiful song. It sounds like the little girl in the song was being sexually abused among other family issues and she couldn't take it anymore. Listening to some of the lyrics such as "the cold will kill the smell of angry gin..." The only thing that was able to free the poor child was death. Sounds silly, but I cried so hard when I listened to this song for the first time.
@KittieLiz91 It's definitely something wrong with youtube's player. When I watch the videos with youtube's video editor it is 3:29 minutes long but when I watch it with the browser version it is only about a second long. When you load the page you will notice for a slight second it shows the full length and then cuts it down to one second so I think youtube is having some problems. If it's not fixed in a week or so I'll reupload it.

I layed in my girlfriends bed with her for 3 and half hours while she was sleeping with the song playing so everytime i hear it i think of my amazing girlfriend!
Thanks for posting. Had the pleasure of seeing Missy here in San Francisco at The Fillmore a few months ago. A great song with a "dark" theme from someone who is one of the best young talents out of Oz...makes me proud to be an Aussie here in the US.
