And in return somalia can allow chinese oil company's to exploite its untapped oil and natural gas. And i can understand America is working hard to prevent that happening.

Truth be told, I have my reservation about China's business practice. But at this point, ANYTHING is better than having the current bunch of armed thugs running the show. As of now, Somalia can't even benefit from its oil reserve at all. Whether you sell it to the Chinese or the West, just stabilize your country so you can somehow profit from your natural resources, even if your share may not appear to be fair at first.
