  • Man you're the best I'm going through the same problem right now, thanks to you I'll working on it tomorrow. Thanks

  • Just installed my new blower motor resistor.... Thanks alot!

  • Thanks for the video,it helped me out, it took me almost an hour to pry the socket apart it was seized up pretty good.

    1999 FORD Exployer Sport 2dr

  • thank you this video helped alot, all of your videos are very detailed and helpful! great job keep um coming

  • i have a 92 ford f350 7.3L diesel and i dont know why the cruze control doesnt work any ideas or a how to

  • @a1a2italy If you also have an air bag light on in the dash. It could be the clock spring.

  • @1aauto no theirs no light

  • @a1a2italy You may want to check the fuses to see if that one has blown for some reason.

  • Man! This video is a godsend! Thank you soo much.

  • great instructions thank you

  • i pretty much have the same question as stevecitano above, i have a 99 mountaineer 5.0 V8 AWD as well. 1aauto do you think the resistor for my truck (which has EATC too) is in the same location as shown in this video? i'ma D.I.Y. and i have the different resistor you mentioned just not sure where its located at ....

  • @airforce1gucci We haven't had one of those vehicles in the shop yet. I would start by looking in the same location to see if it is there.

  • @airforce1gucci

it is in the exact same location i just finished changing mine in my 97 mountaineer V8 and the steps are exactly the same as this video. thanks for this video it made it so much easier and i was able to complete the job myself in about 45 minutes.

  • Is this the same as a 99 mountaineer with "climate control?"

  • @stevecitano The climate control vehicles use a different resistor. Not sure if the procedure is the same or not it may be, but I have not done one on a vehicle with the auto climate control.

  • @stevecitano Yup... Same procedure...Same location. The part has two green boards on it, as opposed to the coils shown the video. It's a dealer part and it's hard (and expensive) to find.

  • There is a clicking sound behind my glove box..... nerve racking as hell!! A/C and heat blows just fine so does anybody know what that could be?..... HELP PLEASE!!!

  • @BoogieBreeze99 What is the rhythm of the clicking noise? Does it change when you move any controls,

  • @1aauto well no. My A/C controls are digital and it blows on all levels. The clickin noise sounds like something tryin to move or click into place. stops when I turn the engine off. I'll upload a vid. Thanks for responding man.

  • @BoogieBreeze99 It's more than likely the actuator clicking on the blend door. There's a design flaw but if you search online, you can find a procedure to insert a finish nail into the actuator and this will direct the blend door accordingly.

  • pretty good video, but the only part I removed was the servo motor. but, it took me about 2 hours just to unscrew the resister, using angle wrenches, pliers, short long handle nut drivers and anything else you can think of just to get the 2 screws off. you took off a lot of parts, but it could have saved me a lot of time in the long run. Oh, another reason I avoided removing everything is because one of the screws (or brackets) broke on the washer fluid tank and that would have been a new issue.

  • i have a 2002 explorer xlt 4 door and i replaced my resister (behind the glove box) and my #2 and #3 is still blowing at the #2 speed....any suggestions???

    thanks for the help!!!

  • @smegjunior Dash switch is the only thing that comes to my mind.

  • I changed the blower motor ressister, but the fan still doesnt work. I also changed the blower motor relays to. Doy ou think I just need a new blower motor ?

  • @BlacknRedTed If your fan does not work at all then yes you probably need to replace the fan motor.

  • @BlacknRedTed The fans in my center counsel work, but the one in the front doesnt. So I will be changing that first thing tommorrow. Thanks alot.
