How much Horsepower was it running? what does R28 stand for btw?

@OmnipotentV It has a 2.8l VR6 - so the R28 stands for the 2.8l VR6, like R32 stands for the 3.2l VR6 in those. It made about 170whp.

@davelinger89 ah that makes sense, I drive a 2004 2.8l vr6 24v gli but mine is stated to hit 200 hp, was yours a 12v or is there some other difference in the engines?

@OmnipotentV Yep, it's a 12v. The Cabrio can only fit mk3 engines, and the 24v VR6 wasn't introduced until the mk4 generation.

@2000VR Made the front one from a stock R32 front grille badge, a 2.0 badge for the 2, and a 1.8T badge for the 8. Rear was the same only I started with a stock R32 rear hatch badge.

Yeah, I actually have the amp and capacitor mounted on the back of the back seats. (Essentially the back "wall" of the trunk)

I think you overdid it a bit with the closeups.

Maybe a bit more of overview, that would give a more pleasant feeling. For example, 2:93 was the first time I saw it as cabrio. ;)

As far as I know, WV doesn't have that law. And I go to a "friendly" inspection station.
