I am making an adult hat from Patrons Shetland Chunky - its #5 Bulky. Do I need to double wrap this yarn?

@bobbie1608 a bulky yarn may be thick enough so you don't have to wrap it twice ....try a few rows and see what you think if its too holey looking then you may want to wrap twice.....cathy@mikeys helpdesk :)

Hey, how many rows exactly does the finished hat has? I'm a beginner and I'm making an adult size hat but in one color only and since you just have to keep doing the same pattern for every row, I need to know how many rows I have to make. Thanks! ^_^

I was thinking I could do the first color in 10 rounds and do a brim and then five more clolors in 4 rounds and the last one in 7 round are all the other colors in 5 rounds with the black in 10 and do the brim But I'm having problems understand how to do that.

Have you made a hat on the loom with the ear flaps and the long braid hanging from them? I have a booklet with written directions on how too but I'm a visual person and just can't seem to see it. :o)

unfortunately mikey doesnt have a video on how to make the hat with the earflaps at this time ..... you can look on youtube and see if you can find another vidreo that can help you.....i searched crocheted hat with earflaps and a couple popped up!!!

How fucking annoying, you have way too many videos and now I sit here and watch this video and you're telling everybody which video to go to in the sense of they need help in that part, you don't even list it! I want to know how to add my other colors and it just says "see my video in youtube on how to do that" gee how useful. Let me sort through hundreds of friggin videos

@RE2LeonS There's actually a really quick fix to your comment... and a way to get the video you wanted... but judging by your tone you are more than likely uninterested... my videos are sorted and clickable by categories outside of You Tube because the search engines doesn't do a great job of searching through my library.

If you would like me to block your name... It would help you sort through videos without worry of my library of videos coming up in the search.

Make a playlist or something, it's not fun when you're in the middle of a project and then have to search through over a thousand videos to find something you're interested in but in any case I used another video so continue with your threats over knitting videos, scary.

@mikeyssmail Well, I know some of what you're talking about, but I'm not sure of everything and of course I would love to make one of these, but it can be such a pain finding all of the tutorials (because of course I have to be multi-tasking 24/7) so I just thought it'd be nice. Still, very lovely hats. Do you make only hats? I personally am more of a flat knitter. I tried to make a glass cozy just for fun and when I presented it to my friends, they thought it was a willy warmer :-/

to switch colors do you just tie a square not at the end of one color and start a new one?
