  • Dig this tone. To what extent do you think I could get that bridge tone if I put that pickup in my tele without the wiring kit? Obviously not the cocked wa, but you get the idea.

  • @dnauheim Well, some folks think removing the neck pickup eliminates enough magnetic string pull to change the tone of the bridge pickup (hence all the Esquire fans). I don't know if that's true or not, and since I've never had the Area T in a standard Tele, I can't say for sure if the tone would be the same. But my guess is that it would be 95% there.

  • @Hoodrio Awesome. I am going to buy one this weekend so I guess I will find out!

  • I'm looking for a 60s style tele pickups, which are closer to that sound? The Area T or the Twang King?

  • @Dimefan91 In my opinion neither--both are pretty modern sounding to me, much more versatile and full sounding than 60's Fender Tele pups. They do not sound "vintage" to me.

  • Man, I just got a Tele, now I want an Esquire!!!

  • What song do you play on 3:30?

    Cool playing!

  • @Jule553648 It's "Tequila"--thanks!

  • Really impressed with the RSGuitarworks Modern Esquire kit and the cocked wah sound. The wiring components, and pots look excellent. Such a cool looking gold capacitor. So I ordered the kit today. Thanks mang!

  • NIce playing man, love that amp, I am in two minds weather to get the PR or the deluxe reverb, I have a feeling the deluxe reverb is going to be the one i go for

  • Thanks. Great playing and demo.

  • Excellent demo! Very tasteful playing and you covered all of the bases with the tones from your guitar.
