This is such a loaded board for the price.. I got one for only 120 or so. OC'd my i7 to 3.92GHz

The only thing that sucks about P55 is if you're running the marvel chipset for SATA6 or whatever, it'll cut your PCI speed down to 4x.

I don't think it'll make much of a difference. The Sata 3 gbps vs 6 gbps is far above the read/write threshold of the two hard drives.

not just, well p55a has sata 3 and usb3 but it takes away from ur pcie performance if u enable it. and p55 has socket burn apparently if u overclock extreme, but only few cases of it.

If you use the usb 3 and sata 3 you cant get crossfire to work well. This board also only does 16x/4x in crossfire which makes yu crossfire suck. You need to get a board taht does 8x 8x. 4000 series cards and 5700 series cards are good with 8x 8x but 5800 series cards you should go for x58 chipset.
