was there for three days fantastic show, going to see Brian this summer at the hollywood bowl in sept for the first time in almost 30 years any else from the "us festival" goin, write me!
I like the heavy bass here. Usually you have to struggle to hear the bass in rockabilly. This is a good way to hear how good Lee really is on that thing. He's friggin' great.
This clip gives a great perspective on how different, and gutsy the Stray Cats were. You got bands like the Specials, The Clash, David Bowie with a big stage presence that day. And then you have The stray cats with... just the three of them taking up about 15 feet of the middle of the stage. But they sounded great and the audience loved them!!
Being a Bass man myself, I like when the Bass is out there for you to hear. However, not at the expence of Setzer's guitar. Still a cool post, I'm gonna save the whole set to my favs.
Bass too high? Guitar too low? Dammit, who gives a shit? Thank god this was recorded and thanks ROCKABILLYRULES for sharing it with us. Respect from London.
I think it's great that the bass is more prominent, ROCKABILLYRULES. Sometimes it gets lost in the mix. Brians guitar is just a little too quiet though. Still, it's a great video.

you know, i have played guitar in many punk bands over the years, and i played in ONE rockabilly band. the rockabilly group was by far the funnest.
oh and the stray cats are the ONLY band that sound better live than on C.D./recording.

I know there seems to be a lot of base, but I do not know how to lower the base and increase the guitar.
That is how the audio came when I bought the DVD.
