LA Noire doesn't seem to be very heavy, and if your new PC can run GTA IV, it will probably run LA Noire
@MrTURBOJOHN Not too sure about that, Noire seems even more complex and detailed than GTA IV was. Still, it all comes down to the game engine and it's PC optimization, which is what GTA's PC version lacked.
I'm sure my new PC will run it, it's just that I'm a graphics freak, so I really like cranking the settings up high. That's why I'm rooting for a well-optimized game.
@Handelo Nah, there isn't nearly as much interactivity in LA Noire as there is in GTA IV, you can clearly see that handling is way less detailed, if you know what I mean, Also, the textures don't seem to have as much detail, but I'm guessing it will be as heavy
Note that the damage system in vehicles on LA Noire is not affected by physics but by scripts

i got this game the day it came out 5-17-11 and on 5-22-11 i beat it...i thought it was going to be free roaming game and its not its partial free roaming i give it 5 stars out of ten..the story line is awesome the graphics are insane but the overall i wasnt to happy with the game

i got this game the day it came out 5-17-11 and on 5-22-11 i beat it...i thought it was going to be free roaming game and its not its partial free roaming i give it 5 stars out of ten..the story line is awesome the graphics are insane but the overall i wasnt to happy with the game

@imyawning your cooling fan must have been shitty then, the disk itself cannot cause any problems unless it's not meant to be played on tha console or you leave it on for too long, the disk drive may have been the problem but not the game. Especially since what you just talked about is actually a very rare occurence.

although im all down for lking at the opposite side of the law i just hope they ee stuff in there like the marothon races from GTA 4 or the side missions like the assasinations. this would add like 6 hours to the play time and would give the customer something thats worth there money

Dont turn down because you cant bullet the innocent civil people on street. That things get really boring after a while anyway' as i seen it from GTA. Its just the same over, either you starting too shoot.. Or knives, fighting someone.. And then the cops as usual turn up from nowhere and you have to run away from their CARS and that annoying helicopter....
In this game it's actually a change from that to show the Free roam in a different way. I thought it was hilarious. Hehe
