people are silly, i have a bronze anatomy statue that is practically useless because the artist gave it a dark patina, i can't tell where the muscles are supposed to attach even. I removed the patina and it's actually functional now, it's still gorgeous! There is a place for having a patina, like with historic homes, and there is a place for exposing the bright metal, both are beautiful so get off your high horse people
