This can be dependant on anything, such as the developer's experience working with one console over the others, which one their publisher wishes them to release for, which console their game engine supports, etc. etc.
Oh man, I wasn't even thinking about getting lit while playing this game until you mentioned it. That's sounds awesome! All joking aside, it does look like nothing we've seen in a game before. With all of these rehashes and remakes and redoes, I'm glad to see some originality in an entertainment medium.

Obviously the company isn't giving in to the typical styles of gaming out there. This is something that is so simple but gives some kind of huge message.
I have never played this game but watching this gameplay, hearing the music as the flower gently flies through the grasslands. It gives me a sense of.......warmth.
i dont get it... if i understand correctly, you play as the wind and you need to fertilize as much flowers as you can in an open world ? litle bit like sandbox... ??? is that correct ? sound realy boring
I was bored/disappointed when I first started playing this and then I figured out what the hell I was doing and now I fucking love it ugh it's so relaxing and lovely. Playing black ops after this never feels quite right...
Actually this game has objectives and a story. Even "characters" and "battles". It's a tale. Practically you are the wind and make the flowers bloom, starting in lonesome fields and "fighting" your way through areas where mankind left its traces. Your "enemies" and the "bosses" you "battle" are somewhat defiled and gloomy constructions of ours that pollute the otherwise "clear" nature. However, in the end, only pollution is removed, and our cities remain intact, in harmony with nature.
This should be a free game to promote the system. Or maybe a dollar or two to cover the bandwidth. I've had the download screen for flOw open too, but could just never get myself to pay $8.
These games are breaking the stereotype that video games are only about shooting people in the face. We need more beautiful and breath-taking games like these.
This is a game that is beautiful and makes you look at life a bit differently. To have a more peaceful and positive outlook on life and nature. To have a feeling of freedom.

@pittystine don't want to argue, but just saying that a game like Flower doesn't have to be over-the-top action-paced FPS gameplay to be good on the market. I agree that FPS's do amazing because they are fast-paced with lots of action, but sometimes you just need time to lay back and relax. @gifventje - That's not correct. It's not a game that really has any specific goal, instead it sort of has a message. Play the game and you'll get it.
You control the wind and "hit" flowers to add additional petals to your trail of petals.

This should be a free game to promote the system. Or maybe a dollar or two to cover the bandwidth. I've had the download screen for flOw open too, but could just never get myself to pay $8.

@pittystine don't want to argue, but just saying that a game like Flower doesn't have to be over-the-top action-paced FPS gameplay to be good on the market. I agree that FPS's do amazing because they are fast-paced with lots of action, but sometimes you just need time to lay back and relax. Also, when reviewing a game, do not compare it to others on the market, that's the worst thing you can do. it doesn't need to be the next call of duty to be amazing.

@coldx833 What is the object of this game I suppose is a better way to ask my question. Looks like it has no objective...If you want to lay back and relax theres LBP and that game is oh so fun. Just my opinion though.

The guys behind this game (and an upcoming title called Journey), thatgamecompany, have gone on record saying this is less of a game and more of an 'experience'.
