Pattayalad, I have to agree with you. The 80's was considered prime time for Patpong and for Bkk for that matter. My friends and I would go clubbing there 2-3 days a week or at 'The Palace'...school night or not and then would end up having 'Mid Nite Kai Torn' before going home for a couple of hours..next thing you know the school bus was at the front gate then it cycle starts all over again :)

It has become the anus of Bangkok over the years, through some of the Thai filth there that prey on tourists.
