Just googled more info about this game and it says there's "over 300km" of track. Er, I'm pretty sure the distance from SF to NY is over 10 times that distance... Won't be buying this, they seem to have somehow made the NFS series worse by adding Heavy Rain-style button mashing sequences.

NFS 3 (Hot Pursuit) was one of my favourite games ever as a kid.

Underground 2 was the high point of the series.

The recently rebranded Hot Pursuit title (this year) was great, but the other NFS games? Dismal

Loving all these comments from NFSU fans about killing the series... NFSU, now that's what killed the best arcade racing series around. Original Hot Pursuit, NFS4 and Porsche Unleashed are still pretty much unparallelled. All these chavs and their customisation obssession... NFS was about driving dream cars, why anyone would rather drive an Impreza than an Italdesign Schigera is beyond me... Sort it out EA!

Criterion brought this philosophy back with Hot Pursuit

Now its Black Box's turn to get back in the saddle and do the same and make The Run a comeback to what made Need for Speed great.

The era street racing Need for Speeds is over so don't expect another Underground or Most Wanted.
