  • I saw this movie 5 minutes ago... I don't even remember the last time a film moved me so much... Peter Weir, Jeff Bridges, Rosie Perez, U2 and a toolbox are the perfect mix!!!

  • In real life, if you drove yourself at that speed into a brick wall you would fuck yourself up worse than what happened to Carla and Max.

  • Thank You So Much For Posting This! This is one of my favorite Film Moments. So Beautiful! And with the intro. to "Where The Streets Have No Name" it's unbelievable!!!!☺

  • 'Oh wait, my hand slipped at the last minute so I'm still not convinced - could we do that again please?' :)

  • Thanks Volvo !

  • ShiviSchuey: You are sooo correct, sir! Fearless most u-rated, o-lookd film of 1990's decade. Best Picture, Best Drctr Peter Weir, Best Actor Jeff Bridges, and Rosie 3 length's ahead of pack, w/ 12 yr old scratched b4 race starts! Jeff should have 3 Osccars in trophy case!!!!!!

  • My second favourite film of ALL time, genuinely

  • @TheScrewball1982 What's your favourite? Mine is Insomnia.

  • incredibly underrated movie and actor, Jeff Bridges might have an oscar and known as a great actor, but if you look at the movies he's been in and been nominated for and even the movies which didn't do soo well, his performances have been outstanding!

  • @ShiviSchuey He might be the best actor of his generation, he's just unrecognised for it

  • Fearless is a great movie.

  • does any1 know what the song is? great scene btw

  • @xmrxshawx U2 - where the streets have no name

  • @splitskaposla tyvm, i love it

  • @splitskaposla couldn't have picked a better song!

  • And the Academy gave the Oscar to Anna Paquin JUST FOR LOOKING CUTE AND SMART, overlooking this heartbreaking work by Rosie Perez??!! UNBELIEVABLE!!

  • When all else fails....HUG THE TOOLBOX! God!? LOL!

  • Indeed. Nice link, Sepinwall.

  • Sepinwall!!!!!

  • I havent seen "Crazy Heart" yet, but everything Ive seen about it so far indicates that I will love it. Im a big Jeff Bridges fan and think he is long overdue for an Oscar. I think he was robbed in not getting at least a nomination for "Fearless", as I think that is flat out one of the greatest performances by ANY actor. If I made a list of my personal alltime top 5 favorite performances, "Fearless" would probably be one of them. So Ill be rooting for Jeff this year, and I think he will get it.

  • I love this movie, and Jeff Bridges and Rosie Perez are one of my all time favorite screen pairings in this movie. She should have got the Oscar, he should have gotten the Oscar, enough said.

  • Memorable escena

  • she was amazing in this movie!

  • Thoughtful comments. I saw Peter Weir's film "The Third Wave" a long time ago and thought, "Who is this Guy?!" Truly unique and able to communicate authentic spirituality and existential realities on film.

  • lot of shivers :)

  • U2, "Where The Streets Have No Name", is the closest you can get to religious music without actually playing a religious hymn.

  • Well done. My favorite scene also. Thanks to U2.

  • um, i have never seen that movie... but was that the end? did they live? kinda curious now..

  • i met rosie perez on a plane once.. i told her this was one of the best scenes in any movie ever. she deserved an oscar for best supporting actress for this.

  • what she said?

  • She just smiled and said thanks a lot and asked where I was flying to. But then later when she passed me in the airport she waved and said bye. Really nice woman.

  • ...but days later I was thinking, shit, we were on a plane, I should have made a joke like "hold onto Bubbles this time..." Haha.

  • I use this scene when I teach driving classes- thanks for providing this

  • she was nominated for this but she lost to anna paquin. she needed that oscar this her best film..

  • wow i got a friend in my class...that said she was in this movie...she said she was a little baby in the movie.well her and her twin sister...she said that they both were 1 and dont remember much.....so yea..this is awsome....

  • One of the best movies I have ever seen, period. This scene will forever remain in the back of my mind when I hear this U2 gem. Jeff Bridges' performance should have won him a wall full of awards.

  • Me too! I always remember this scene from this great film! When hear U2 play ' Where the Streets have no Name.' I will see this part of ' FEARLESS. ' Always.

  • WOW... I saw this movie about ten years ago and this remains one of the BEST SCENES from any movie, ever!

  • Way. To. Make. A. Point.

One of my favourite movie scenes.

  • The best part of this movie....
