@electronaut21 absolutely perfect, get the same one i have made by "Ovation" make sure to get a water Filter & Not a Pump, the smallest one they make will work in any size bowl its adjustable, has Net Filter & Coal Cartridge Replacements for around $3 so a monthly chage is extremely cheap, Best used for over 1/2 gal water & use in conjunction with a thermostat for ON/OFF cycling. Highly Recommended, it keeps the oxygen needed added & a High Electrolyte count keeps water fresh 24/7

Thats a 75 Gallon Enclosure, The water Bowl Holds approximate 3 gallons of water when filled to the top! BTW.. did you ever find out the sex of your BP & have you been able to get it to start eating by the head?
Well I never did get my snake probed but i'm mostly assuming that he's male. If i ever breed him some day, i'll be sure to get him probed though. I have been able to get him to eat the heads of rats now. I did as you suggested and when he gave up on trying to eat it by the middle, i'd wiggle the head and he'd eat that. Now's he's mostly just learned to find the head and start from there. Thanks for the advice!

btw i read somewhere that a natural environment is more stimulating, healthy, and overall makes a better pet out of a herp than a regular newspaper/aspen setup with 1 plant a small hide and a heater. is that true?
I Would say That With My Experience That That is 100% True. & I Believe it to be a fact. The More Stable a Snake Is The Better Temperament it will have. ;)
i also believe that they are more of a companion in general than a regular breeder animal; that is they seem to be more aware and even more intelligent more like a mammal in personality than normally kept animals.
Stability In A Snake = Confidence,Docile a Constant "attitude" usually a Good Attitude.I Dont Believe Snakes show "emotion" towards other animals if thats what you mean. Handling your snake, being around your snake,Letting your snake out of its Enclosure (the snake knows its YOU opening the top for it) being part of your snakes everyday activities or environment will make the snake more comfortable & Stable around people,i dont believe the snake is acting like that because it "Likes You"
right i dont think they show that kind of emotion but a kind we cant comprehend like a lower vertabrate thing. however i can see a bit of a difference in some owners animals like 1softkiss for example i just dont see that often it might not like you maybe its just a high toleration and i agree with everything else you said
Absolutely, the reason snakes act like that or become like that is because of their environment & Care given to them by their owners. Carla does a great job with positive reinforcement for pets! we should also remember that even when they become like this that they are still Snakes & Should never lose that respect for the species.

Wow lol that's gigantic.
