It's a real shame yes, and when even Barbara herself has doubts it'll happen we could be in for a long wait, I guess it's an odd situation there they'd perhaps rather we didin't talk about but licensing out (especially whene there's an obvious demand) ought to be a good idea for all involved. Oh well, I had hoped it'd happen like they finally managed to get Kiki Dee's old 70s/80s albums out, that took some hauling too but eventually success.

@komodoman Yes, in the early 90s. I've tried so many times to get Barbara's back catalogue released on CD. A few companies have been keen but have met a brick wall when they've applied to the record company for the rights. Something to do with contracts drawn up with Barbara's ex-manager I believe. Sad, but we're unlikely to get all these great old recordings, except on compilations!
