How long can this camera record videos in one stint? Lets say memory is not an issue (I have 32 gigs), how long can I record videos? Does it stop every 10 minutes then you have to press the record button again? Or does it record continuously until you ran out of memory? Thanks in advance!
Does anyone notice that the LCD screen has light leakage on the borders. Is this normal? Just trying to determine if its a manufacturer defect or normal

I'av got this cam and it does amazing... yet i'm facing a problem that when I transfer the vidoes to my PC and run them by any player (even with DVD etc) they don't run continously rather giving breaks and fluctuations both in voice and picture.. I'av consulted manual too but of no use.. please help.
If you are considering the Sony HX-1 or Canon SX1 IS, you should also consider the Casio EX-F1 because it has a focus ring around the lens, a external mic jack, a hot shoe, a threaded lens for UV filters, and slow motion (if you want a fun bonus). Hard to believe it's from Casio. The problem is the price.
I tested this camera in a camera shop. There has been much discussion about zoom noise and/or hum.Regarding the clicking snap sounds, I found that if you don't release your finger quickly off the zoom lever causing it to snap, gently slide the lever, and don't release your finger off the zoom lever until after all zooming has ceased, there was NO zoom snap sound.I couldn't test for a zoom motor hum,however I notice that the camera makes the zoom speed slow down in movie mode vs still mode
You can rename it from .mp4 to .avi or mkv since it uses the h.264 codec, the file extension is irrelevant. You will able to play it with divx or matroska codec, in any player.

try to play it in other pc(newer). if it works well, then the problem is your pc.

HD highest level video is 41 minute recording using 4 Gigs. Sony Pro Duo is 16 Gig at $70 however I picked it up on Ebay for $25 from China
