the most beautiful video i have ever seen ---i wonder has anyone ever watched this without thinking about how this couple walking home from work is going to make love when night comes...))
Great! how many times I ve heard this song live ... I met them in Brittany on a small island .... since than I think I ve seen them live around 50 times? It's part of my "growing up" Therefore the sadnass came over me when I heard that George died .... Lucky once in a while I come across their unforgettable music!
@CaTheYowes They were rather wonderful. Sadly, I never saw them in concert. I keep hoping some footage of them will turn up on YouTube sometime. Probably a vain hope though. Thanks for your comments.
@saltwaterballads I haven't found any footage so far. I was lucky enough to know George and enjoyed many a session in his company. I also recorded on a track with Billy Ross a few years ago.
@CaTheYowes Its good to know you're on the case too. They are strangely elusive though, you would think they would have done a bit of telly to promote their reunion 15 years ago. How interesting that you knew George, good memories for you, and Billy Ross is still going strong I hope.
This is fantastic! Can anyone download 'Ossian - The Road to Drumleman' i don't know how to do it and it is one of the best songs of all time!

Best Scottish traditional band of all time! I saw them at their reunion concert at Celtic connections about 15 years ago. They were awesome!
Sadly George Jackson and Tony Cuffe are no longer with us. Thank God for recordings.
