how do you tell easier what and where the pitch is going to be??

Also remember to swing at the right time, not to early and not to late, be sure you swing right when the ball gets to you, but alot of pitches have different speeds remember. It also depends on how good the the player thats up can hit, for example if its a pitcher, especally an A.L. pitcher it may be better to bunt then hit. When guys like lets say a-rod are batting well lets say homerun :)

You can also guess pitches, pressing and holding the R2 button will allow you to guess the location where the ball will go and also allow you to guess what type of pitch it will be (Fast ball, curve ball..), getting both right gives you a better chance of getting a hit and even a homerun, I found that getting the right location though is better then just getting the type of pitch right.

The circle button is bunting, if you press it earlier to bunt before the ball gets to you there is a larger chance the ball will go right, and if you bunt right when the ball is coming at you there is a large chance it will go left. But remember alot of times it could bunt right back to the pitcher or even a fly ball into foul territory. But bunting right is useful when the 3rd basement is prepared for a bunt.

Hey man was that u hittin the home runs, if so great hit. I've just got the game 2day and lets say i suck big time haha, u got any tips u can give me.

I've only just worked out how not to throw the ball like a girl ;) but for the love of god i can't hit the ball, only ever done 1 home run and lets jus say i was hittin any buttons and got lucky but when i try i cant hit the ball grr

How to hit: The X button is a regular swing, or just trying to get contact with the ball to at least get a base hit, but it depends on how good the ball was hit because you might even beable to get an infield homerun with that. The Square button is a power swing or trying to get a homerun with that swing, but the ball has to be a good pitch otherwise there is a large chance it will be a swing and a miss.

Well you will know when the ball gets close enough to make a good powerful hit. It doesnt really come in time to hit the ball far, like I said it depends on how good the pitch is to hit and that you hit the ball at the right time, guessing on what type of pitch it will be and the location where it will be can help alot too.

Naw, that is standard definition... my DV recorder is standard def only, so when I want to record I have to play on my SDTV. You can improve the definition on YouTube by adding "&fmt=18" (without the "") at the end of the URL, that helps a little.

Naw, that was one of the built in tracks. The Show, while it has custom music, doesnt have custom batter walk-up music... hopefully next year.

LOL, I guess that is a small problem. It was only 1 of 27 outs. Cabrera had another chance in my second series against CHI, needless to say I stopped at 1st. So I guess you can say I learned a lesson in all this :D

Indeed. When I get this game in a few weeks (along with a PS3), I'll definitely practice safe baserunning. At least I'd be on base, possibly for a 2 or 3 run homer later.
