If you watch closer you will notice that both are made to look like blundering speakers, but they further implicate that McCain is taking all his queues from the President as if he can't think for himself. There are a lot of uneducated voters who will believe the content of this video to be pure fact. Machinima is promoting it on their channel which leads me to believe they take interest in the content.

i don't think it was really pro or anti anything. sure, some of the commentary had a bit of sarcasm, but it wasn't pointing fingers. the title is mainly for the line of dialogue spoken by one of the character's. and mccain gets screen-time too, even though he was off screen, in an equally embarrasing situation. also it was created by phil rice aka overman.
